    Good Points: Near to nightlife


    Bad Points: Break ins...no reception...spies...


    General comments: I worked in Salou for the summer...during my stay I moved into the Montblanc apartments. Thought to be the ideal place...It was lovely we had a massive terrace, kitchen facilities - to some it may have been basic to us it was paradise...Only downfall was that we were broken into 3 times whilst we lived there in the space of 2 weeks! The cleaner was NOT friendly as we were staff we were well known especially coming in from work at unearthly times in the morning. We remained nothing but pleasant to all the residents and respected them. We constantly felt like we were being watched and were told off for making noise on many an occasion we were sleeping. One day someone even walked into our apt unaware we were living there. Shortly after this we were broken into...we reported our broken window. We were then broken into again and turns out another bedroom window was broken, our balcony door didn't shut and then our shutter became broken. This leading to further break in. I would recommend that you be very cautious in these apts.

    I have just came back from salou after a week out there. The place itself is really nice but the accommodation is a dump. While we were there we seen no reps, our room was in a state when I arrived, the bathroom was full of mould, the curtains were hanging off, the floor was so dirty my feet were black, dinner plates were cracked. It was a disgrace. While we were there we never saw a cleaner and we had no clean towels or bedding for a week. That's how clean it was. Anyone who is going to salou a ...

    I did enjoy this holiday, and we plan to go back to the Mont Blanc Apartments hopefully this October, The nightlife is brilliant, and the apartments are situated at least 5 minutes away from the beach. And literally down the street are the clubs.

    I'd recommend this accommodation to anybody who likes to have fun clubbing and loud nightlife; so basically younger people.

    I have just returned from a week in Salou staying in the Mont Blanc apartments. All I can say to anybody considering staying in these apartments is DON'T!! Apartment is very basic and not too comfortable. Best thing about them is the huge balcony. We reported a broken bathroom window when we got there. Nothing was done about it and somebody broke into our apartment stealing our phones, cameras etc and also a knife from the kitchen - as well as turning all our stuff upside down in the hunt f ...

    All in all Salou, Montblanc Apartments is a very good place to stay, but I think Kiss is the worst nightclub ever, and Snoopy's is only good if you don't mind being squished. I highly recommend Charlie Chaplin's at the top end of town, closes at 3.30am so you can go somewhere after if you want. Also watch out for the pick pockets at the top and bottom of the alleyways!

    All in all, the Montblanc apartments are brillant places 2 stay if you are a group of teens and young adults. About 200 yards down the road, is 2 of the best nightclubs, Snoopy's and Kiss nightclubs and many bars and restaurants.

    Montblanc was ideal for our group, we were able to enjoy ourselves without annoying anyone else, drink on our balcony before we went out and it was only round the corner from all the night life. The apartments were really spacious, and although the maids were a bit useless throughout the stay, they were otherwise kept quite clean.

    There is always an abundance of sunbeds round the pool and the pool area is pleasent and well kept, the Spanish residents seem to be able to take liberties though ...

    (2003)Montblanc in Spain is a good place to stay if you requested to have the basics due to the fact that there is no air con or conveinient place to get refreshments it isnt really ideal 4 kids. For teens though its an excellent place to stay cheap, cheerful, smack bang in the middle of all the nightclubs and a 2 min walk to the beach.
