Bad Points: Apple juice shipped from anywhere in the world (they ain't grown in Ireland), the carbon dioxide that makes it "fizzy" is a byproduct from a bleach factory in my opinion.
General comments: This is not real cider, in my opinion it's just a cheap alcoholic product that has been heavily marketed.Just shows you how effective a multi million pound advertising campaign is........................if the ads are good some people will spend their hard earned on tasteless rubbish.

Magners is the cider equivalent of alcopop. And ice in cider, does that remind me just a bit too much of the obligatory ice in your drink in MacDonald's? Why is it so expensive? You can pay £3 or more for a bottle of this stuff. I just don't get why people drink it. I suppose the only good thing is that it will introduce people to cider and ween them off lager and alcopops and then they may accidentally try something nicer like real ale or proper cider.

Ice in cider? Adge Cutler would turn in his grave.
Magners Original is far too bland to be considered a good cider.

Magners Original is an extremely crisp, "clean" tasting cider, usually served with plenty of ice, making it a great summer cooler. I'm usually a bitter drinker but when I want something cold in summer that's not lager, I'll always go for the Magners.

Magners Original is the new trendy drink, I actually rather like it. It's always served in a pint glass with lots of ice so it nice and cold which is a bonus at the moment. It's also not too strong in taste or sharp as some ciders do tend to be. I find most people like this and are surprised it's not like cider usually tastes!

Magners original is the greatest cider ever made (probably). This comment comes from a West Countryman where a lot of cider is made. It can be obtained from Threshers off licence in litre bottles, OR Tesco's in pints. It's great!

Magners Original is not a bad cider, but it doesn't quite live up to the hype. It is a nice one no doubt, but the dishwasher taste is evident. I can't explain the dishwasher taste, but if you know what I'm talking about you'll understand.

If, you haven't discovered this little Irish beauty, then pop into your nearest O'Neill's or any other Irish pub and wrap Magners Original around your tastebuds. Don't be spooked by the fact it comes in a pint bottle, or by the pint glass half-filled with ice that your friendly bar-tender pours it into! This is how they drink it in Ireland and one thing the Irish know how to do is drink, so it can't be wrong! The taste is uniquely refreshing, don't let the (slightly high) price put you off; this ...

Magners Original - Top marks to this one. It's a welcome sight after a long day; it's nice-tasting and is strong enough without being rocket fuel.

When you are served a Magners Original cider it comes in a pint bottle. Nothing unusual in that, it's when you get a pint glass half filled with ice you start to think this is different. Once poured over the ice and tasted, I was converted! It is medium sweet, and a rich golden colour. It is hard to describe, but all the established ciders we have in the UK do not have a patch on this product. Magners Original cider comes from Ireland, where it has nearly 15% of the pint market. Lets face it the ...
