    I thought it was a bad batch but now am convinced that its the new taste I dont like... bring back the old taste Blackthorn Dry!!!

    Blackthorn changed the recipe and strength. It used to be great now it is rubbish, nothing like it used to be.

    Blackthorn has been my drink of preference all my life. I've found it in obscure places such as Santa Monica and out of the way bars in Europe, a much welcome break from lager.

    Now Gaymers have destroyed the product to fall in line with its' competitors - a bad day for the drinkers of Bristol.

    I would like to think i am the only person in Bristol who dont like the new Blackthorn but i know im not. So the sooner the Blackthorn makers swallowed their pride and admitted they got it wrong the better it will be for all of us

    A bit about the new Blackthorn Dry. I live in Bristol so it is not as if there are a lack of different ciders to try, the new recipe Blackthorn is one to try only once. Whereas before, as a mass produced cider, it had its own distinctive tang - a taste of its own. Now it has blended in with most other mass produced ciders with a bland forgetable taste.
    Sorry sbout the negative feedback Gaymers, but from now on I'll get Thatchered!

    I have been drinking and enjoying Blackthorn all my life until the makers suddenly decided to bring out their so called new improved recipe - it is awful!! It's flavour bears no resemblance to the Blackthorn I have always drunk and it is no improvement whatsoever
    I never thought I would ever stop drinking Blackthorn but this new stuff is so awful that I have had to switch to wine instead!
    Bring back the original recipe!

    I enjoy blackthorn as it put me on a different level such as larger. Clean crisp taste little sweet but refreshing in every way i was brought up on the stuff living in BRISTOL loves it mind 5*****nice feelingmax from brizzz

    Blackthorn Dry Cider is my drink of choice and always will be. It does the job (bladderded!) every time. Much tastier than that Strongbow stuff, and mildly more refreshing.
