My daughter has had various feeding problems since birth: improper latch and bad suction which caused very painful gas, reflux, and milk allergies. Feeding has been a nightmare for us and her. We have spent hundred of dollars trying different kinds of bottles to help (playtex drop-ins, playtex vent-air, dr. browns, evenflo). We have had problems with gas with every other bottle, she either refused to take the nipple or had a bad latch that caused her to have screaming fits from the gas pain.... (read more)

I am a new mother who was very stressed because I now have to return to work after 8 weeks of exclusive breastfeeding. It is more stressful than I could have imagined. I have tried every nipple there is for the past few weeks. I think my son was more frustrated at the nipple changes than the bottle feeding itself. My baby was still fussy at first with the MAM Bottles 3-Step Feeding Bottle because he is so comfortable with the breast, but he takes it after a few minutes. I am so thankful that... (read more)

Thought these MAM Bottles 3-Step Feeding Bottles were fantastic to clean and to use from day one. The fact that MAM bottles are BPA free was a mega bonus. I'm expecting my second baby now and will buy the MAM bottles again. (read more)

I was breast feeding in hospital but after a while i decided to bottle feed,he wouldn't take to the avent shape teats only the flat teats, they are also BPA free which was a big concern of mine.. the teats last for ages unlike the avent which leak after a few weeks and have to be changed..I would and have recommended these to friends, they also come in different colours which is nice, these bottles have never leaked and i have had them 5 months.. Just reading comments of those who say the bottle leaks - they don't, you just need to read the instructions on how to assemble the bottle once all the way through and they definitely won't leak (mine never have leaked). these bottles are great. i tried 3 different bottles before my little girl would take a bottle and this was the only one that worked. i highly reccommend it but you do have to get used to assembling it each time which is a bit of a pain. I had no problem introducing these bottles to an exclusively breast fed baby. I had numerous nightmare stories from friends experiences who found this difficult, known of them used the Mam Ultivent bottles. I can't recommend them enough. (read more)

I used both sizes of these bottles for my son. They come apart so you know they are completely clean. They are tricky to assemble to start with because the base has to go on quite firmly, but we were used to them within a week. My son never suffered trapped wind or colic with these bottles and when I took him from breast to bottle he took to the shape of the teat straight away because of the shape. I love these bottles. I tell all my pregnant girlfriends about them and when every one who... (read more)

My little boy seems to like the teat on the MAM Bottles 3-Step Feeding Bottle, and they come in different colours. However, they leak, and leak and leak. I only used them for one day, and every time I put water in to make the bottles, they leaked everywhere. I was hoping they would be good, but they're not.
Rubbish. Waste of money.

MAM Bottles 3-Step Feeding Bottles were good with great latching on and suckling by my baby, but they are difficult to take apart the bottle white filter when dismantling to clean. I end up using a pair of tweezers! Daily battle with leaking bottles all over my fridge. The stress of yet another leaking bottle is proving too much. (read more)

These are the most amazing bottles I have ever seen. My precious little grandson had colic almost as soon as he was born. I was shopping in Biggs one day and found this bottle and thought we might give it a try. My son, daughter-in-law and I were truly amazed! With his first bottle, no colic and he has not had it since! He is now seven months old and we tell everyone we can about these amazing bottles. My daughter-in-law and I now give them as baby shower gifts and tell the new mom's to just... (read more)

When my daughter was born I breastfed for almost four months using MAM Bottles 3-Step Feeding Bottle. Ever mindful that I would eventually like to exchange breast for bottle, I started her very early on expressed milk in a bottle. At first I used Avent, very messy and prone to coming appart in the changing bag, but then for a while I didn't use a bottle at all. It was at this point that the problems began. My daughter would not take a bottle instead refusing to feed. I spent a fortune trying... (read more)

MAM Bottles 3-Step Feeding Bottle: These bottles I found while reading my mother and baby magazine, I sent for a free sample and have never turned back. My daughter is now five months old and she will not drink from any other bottle. The teats are 'squashed' which gives the baby the sense it is feeding from mum. The bottles themselves come in different colours (pink/blue, yellow, green and mauve). They have a valve at the bottom of the bottle which contains a seal to prevent any leakage. The... (read more)

During my pregnancy i did a lot of research and 'invested in' 5 Fairly expensive Tommy Tippee Closer to nature bottle which i was told would be best for mainly breastfed babies. My baby wasn't having any of it. I tried several kinds and the only one that worked and simultaneously worked effectively on the colic were these mAm ultivent bottles. Big thumbs up from my baby son.

Cons. Bit of a fiddle to warm milk up in them as they are wide bottomed and faily thick. (Tip: Lie them on their side or use a pre sterilised glass drinking cup in hot water).Do not use them for freezing..it takes ages!!!
Pro: Because of this once warm they tend to stay warm for ages.

Also they don't always bit into standard bottle sized stuff because of their bottoms.
Despite this we still love them.
