Good Points: Very local, and I also get a dividend with my loyalty card Open all hours and when the main supermarkets are shut
Bad Points: Can be expensive, so tend to look for offers or 2 for 1 or 3 for 2's
General comments: Coop is clean, modern and they have helpful staff. They are also open long hours, and near to me, so I can walk to the store within 15 minutes and back.

The Co-op at Great Barr in Birmingham is fantastic! I love the special offers, great range of wine and the fact it is a compact store; about 1/10TH of the size of a large Asda, yet I can get everything I want - only tonight I bought Strawberries that were grown on a Co-op farm, some very fresh store baked bread and some fresh fish. Oh, and not to mention a 'Kitchen Devil' Knife Block for £9.99 (ARGOS £20+)
Their Luxury Pizza is to die for, as are the carrot cake and scones. It ...

The Co-op ought to be a place where I want to shop. However, I will not shop at my local branch of the Co-op until this company appreciates the importance of good customer service.

The co-op in caol Fort William is a disgrace lack of staff and bad management the freezers are bogging and not much frozen food on offer There are too many gaps on the shelves. I'm taking my custom elsewhere and I speak for many others.

The Co-op is not a store that I like, I don't find the prices on a lot of things easy to find, most of the stores are dated and have not got the sparkle of most supermarkets. They do have some good offers so it's worth nipping in for them but I am not tempted to look around at anything else. Cheque outs are slow.
