Good Points: good attention to sound detail
Bad Points: these speakers will pick out any sound errors generated by any part of your system that are not up to scratch quality wise. Matching with a good smooth amp and cd player is important to get the best.
General comments: I first listened to these B&W DM601S2 speakers in the listening room of my local audio shop. Although the B&w's were £50 more expensive than the Missions and the Kefs that they were tested against, they were worth the extra cash. The sound seemed to be much more lively coming from the B&w's and the top-end detail was very clear. So clear infact, that they highlighted the fact that my Tecknics C.D player did not have the same attention to detail and had to be replaced soon after.

The B&W DM601S2 speakers are the very best I think - better than any Mission speakers. I think Mission are good but B&W just are the very best. Take for instance the Mission m73, the B&W speakers EASILY BEATS IT.
