Absolute rubbish. Can't get anything right and over charge. Send an email of my complaints and they could not be bothered to answer. Going back to trusty old Sainsbury, a far better shopping experience.

A good idea, just doesnt work as the store is too busy to cater for this service and the staff have no idea what's going on, i had so much trouble with my order it would have been easier to pay to have it delivered to my home.- Read Guest's review (48 words)

Bought 2 dvd's 1 was faulty and lept freezing , one was in french despite the description saying languages are french and english. Asda would not swap the one in french and told me they would not reffund the faulty one or give me a credit note for it. They told me I could have a like for like swap normally, but they didn't have it in stock. My options were to choose another dvd to the same value. I asked for a credit note as there was nothing I wanted, they wouldn't do this. I asked if I could b ...- Read Guest's review (129 words)

We had an Asda store built in our area, so I'd thought I'd give it a try and the price of food is rubbish as the quality of the food is ridiculous! Tesco's might on some products be like 1 or 2p more but there quality is so much better! Tesco value chicken pies you actually can't tell a lot of difference between them and the leading brand! Where as Asda's, there was like 1 tiny piece of chicken and a dollop of gravy and tasted foul! Found this with nearly every single product of Asda's! Also Lem ...- Read Adamwh's review (141 words)

I strongly believe that Asda is a good store however there have always been advert from both tesco and asda as to which is better and I believe that every person should get a questionnaire on this so that the situation can be concluded. thankyou- Read Guest's review (45 words)

I received a bouquet of orchids from Asda as a gift from a friend. They arrived half dead and within a week they had to be thrown out. I didn't tell my friend as I didn't want to upset her to think she had wasted her money. I WILL NEVER USE ASDA FLOWER SERVICE EVER, the quality of flowers are nothing like you see on their website. Orchids should last for weeks in water, they were in an appalling condition when they arrived and I would like to speak to the person who put this bouquet together ...- Read Guest's review (102 words)

Ordered clothing (worth £50) from Asda Direct at beginning of June 2009. Returned it a few days later for a refund and still haven't got my money back! Customer service appalling - won't give you a straight answer and just try to fob you off. Am taking advice from Consumer Direct to pursue the matter further but will never use ASDA DIRECT again! If you need to return anything, be sure to send it recorded or special delivery.- Read Guest's review (77 words)

ASDA is going downhill fast i bought a 'Minky Ironing Board'2 months ago ASDA would not refund item as it only had 28 days guarantee the weld had corroded iron hitting the floor causing a dent in wooden floor.Customer service refused point blank to exchange this item which clearly was faulty. I was told 'well it's out of our hands' .Never shopping at ASDA again Tesco & Morrisons will get my trade from now on better selection of foods better quality meat.- Read Guest's review (81 words)

I ordered a home delivery from Asda at the beginning of May. The order was an hour late (which the driver did not even acknowledge). After the driver had gone I realised all the frozen items were missing. I spent the rest of the afternoon calling Customer Services to be finally be told the items would not be redelivered but that a refund had been authorised. I have been calling, e-mailing and writing to Asda for nearly two months and am still waiting for my refund!- Read DD20's review (119 words)

My first order with ASDA was 3 hours late and 10 items were incorrect, and my last order never arrived and I'm still awaiting a refund!! The so called customer helpline is appalling, this company thinks it's ok to take your money and pass the buck. Well I suppose if you shop in a cheap supermarket you get what you pay for..- Read Guest's review (64 words)

Having shopped at Asda for a while I got fed up of the huge queues and unhelpful staff. However the prices and quality were OK. I decided to swap to online shopping. I have had 3 deliveries now and not one of them has been right. They have a problem with substitutions and I have had damaged products delivered. Have had to ring up to sort out refunds as this hasn't happened automatically, and my most recent shop was missing all of my chilled and frozen goods. They re-arranged delivery for t ...- Read rberrington's review (136 words)

Be aware online grocery shopppers that if Asda forget some of your items they won't redeliver just refund. If by some miracle they forget 10 items or something to the value of £10 then your ok! They've just forgot my entire fruit order but as it only costs £6 I'm faced with having to go out to the shops and wait a week for them to refund. I wouldn't use them again.- Read lgbobo's review (71 words)

They advertised ASDA as cheap but what you get in my opinion is all cheap! I dont think it is worth it! I would recommend LIDL & Sainsbury.
I have not always been happy with the customer services. 2. in my opinion they are not cheap; almost comparable to Sainsbury and Tesco although in my opinion Sainsbury has best quality of food available if you really are into food not the cheap stuffs like canned foods.3. Vegetables seem to be of lowest grade.4.I always check my reciepts as I have found t ...- Read onlineshoppe's review (109 words)

Ordered a sofa from Asda direct on 28/12/09, payment was taken shortly after, expected a delay because of Christmas holidays but received no contact by 20/01 so rang the "customer support". I could clearly understand the lady but she was unhelpful, only to constantly say the supplier would contact me the day previous to delivery. After another 6 days i rang again - same answer although they said they would get someone to contact me ref delivery. Now 04/02 & have had 3 attempts to talk to someone ...- Read lesreeed's review (167 words and 1 comment)

My local asda is quite well laid-out so it's easy to find most items, with one or two exceptions. Although asda have a reputation for good prices, most of them seem the same as all the other supermarkets. Their own brand products are cheap but this can come with a downside, like their own-brand sausages which are only 10% pork!
The staff seem polite and friendly, although it does vary depending on who you get. They do seem to run out of items at busy times, and another thing is that I was defini ...- Read Julie316's review (173 words)
