Sainsburys, the one reason we go there is because they have such a great quality of fresh produce like fruit, vegetables, meat & dairy that are always fresh and on the date never had a fault maybe one or two but that happens, infact Morrisons new slogan' fresh choice for you' should be handed to Sainsbury's for there work.

The Layout is nice, one or two bits harder to find though, the fridges easy, but the chocolate/biscuits a bit harder might just be the shear size of the store though.

Really good value for money especially with Nectar points, could do some more vouchers in store overall definetely reccomended if your looking for fresh choice

I ordered my wedding wine and champagne through Sainsburys online. The whole experience was a nightmare from beginning to end. They were late delivering, the costs went up after placing the order, and when this was less than a week before my wedding the service was shocking. The only reason i got for this was its in their rules and regs. Not happy with service or delivery, and as the order was very large they would not discuss any discounts. I will never shop in their stores on online. Tes ...

    I bought from Sainsbury online.
    They ripped me off.
Charged for things they didn't send.
They charged me for expensive items and sent cheap alternatives.
When I complained they gave me the run around with their online "Customer managers".
Many angry emails later they tell me they won't be responding to me again.
    It's a complete outrage.
I swear I will never buy from them again.
I will willfully blacken their name at every opportunity.

Take my advice, choose another online supermarket.
    Sainsbu ...

After purchasing Euros for my holiday, inside the envelope when I got back was a save £5 voucher on NEXT purchase of holiday money bearing in mind it ran from 20/07/2009 to 31/08/2009 I purchased £1000 worth of holiday money and felt the person who served me should have informed me of that offer for at least £500. I hear you say oooh for a fiver yes for a fiver how many people are going back for holiday money in that space of time?I will never ever shop there ever again.
    Very ba ...

Sainsburys is a brilliant local supermarket that has good facilities. It is a clean, well-known shop that has staff that are always willing to help, they do their job well, and do it in a short amount of time without rushing! Their staff are warm, friendly and very welcoming. It has good quality food, clothes and other products that they sell. It also has a cheaper price plus the food is really yummy which is a bit of a bonus really! Sainsburys never take advantage and all the staff are always a ...

Customer service really bad after ordering a washing machine from Sainsbury's
    - One day never arrived and changed date of order at last minute
    - Second day off work following week, when I phoned told that who ever put delivery through to us by email didn't pass on to the delivery section
    - Third day (last Saturday) up at 6:30 for delivery at 7am.
    - Delivery guys dropped it in the kitchen, literally, and insisted on signature, I declined and was put under pressure to sign, I refused, after lo ...

I recently bought a fridge freezer from Sainsbury's and I am appalled with their lack of customer services. 5 mins after delivery I found a dent/scratch at the front of the freezer and altered both the delivery drivers and customer services about this. Apparently they will not do anything! Even though i purchased the full insurance policy on the fridge freezer!!! This is supposed to cover everything...Apparently not! Needless to say i will now cancel the policy on my dented fridge freezer.

Price of goods has dropped recently.
Quality has declined significantly. Not only are the products cheaper but the service and support is poor.
Hoover "bagless" vacuum cleaner purchased just over a year ago is useless. It doesn't work properly, it needs a new part and Sainsbury won't help identify or supply the part.

It was said that Sainsbury's was going to 'pull its socks up' regarding supplies. AGAIN we have a problem! For SIX weeks there have been no spring greens available at the store in Calcot, Reading. Three weeks ago I questioned Customer Services about this and they said it was trouble with the suppliers. I don't buy it! Today, after six weeks having to shop elsewhere for spring greens (available at Tesco, Asda, Co-op, Waitrose and even local butcher/greengrocer) I again ventured to Customer ...

I started using Sainsburys as when i was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, it was recommended by my Doctor. Would never go back to any other supermarket now.
I can get everything I want, almost at a competitive price and the range of gluten-free foods is growing immensely.
The staff in our local store at Truro are so friendly and helpful (in fact a few are coming to our wedding!). Nothing is ever too much trouble.
Better place than tesco, Asda and Morrisons put together!

Pleased to see them doing well. Like their ethical ranges. A little disappointed by their slimming down of their ale range.

The resturaunt at Peterborough has cut out the separate pay desk - withdrawn the self help coffee machines with the result that two staff do all the work, and on machines which are far to slow. The result on Thursday at 11am was that it took 14 minutes to get coffee. I accept that half an hour later the queue had gone. But there is no flexibility in the system and nobody cares. This in a management problem, but I have never seen one in this store. To change the operating system from what it was ...

Sainsbury's isn't my first choice for shopping, I use my local one only occasionally for stuff I run out of.The reason I don't use it often is because I find it too expensive, even if I just get the basics in the difference in price is easily noticeable - a loaf of bread in Sainsburys is £1.89 - in ASDA the exact same brand is 60p cheaper! - that's nearly a third cheaper! - that's not a one off either, it seems pretty much across the board. But the main gripe I have with them is the servi ...

on arrival at sainsburys cafe there only looked to be a handful of people eating and joining the queue i could see that most of the tables had dirty dishes on them i made a comment to a member of staff who said they were short staffed and to go into the store and find a manager. After asking four people who said they could not find a manager I managed to find one. On my comments about the state of the cafe they told me they were going to lunch, I said I was also going to have lunch and pay for i ...

In my local store there seems to be a lack of urgency among the staff; you wait until they have had their chat and decide to serve you. Long queues don't appear to waken them up. The 'offers' sometimes don't appear at the checkout.

I would like to praise Sainsburys' clothing range TU which i have just started buying. I am so happy to have found affordable clothing in sizes over a size 16 that are modern trendy and at a price that beats any high street store that produces their larger clothing range for the fuller figured woman, I could not belive how much you can buy for your money, I would just like to Thank your Fashion Buyers for the Grace Range of clothing in your stores from one happy customer that right now feels she ...

After being more or less forced to shop at the (what I think) awful Morrison's for a few months (it was the only supermarket in the area) it's such a relief to be able use a decent supermarket now I've moved house.
Sainsburys at Nine Elms in South West London is always clean, the staff are very friendly and the range and quality of produce is excellent.
There's always plenty of parking spaces and a good stock of the smaller trolleys, useful for those of us who don't want a big trolley but buy ...
