I have used Sainsbury's supermarkets for years, my local one down the road. The service has been going downhill recently so I go elsewhere a lot of the time just now and again to the local Sainsburys as it is handy. “customer service”

I forgot to take my coupon for cheaper petrol with me, so I asked the girl on the checkout if I could come back with the coupon and receipt and still claim. She assured me I could but called a colleague to confirm this, which is what he did, "yes, sir, no problem". I went in today ( to the Cheltenham branch) to be told by customer services that it was not possible and should have been done at the time of purchase. This was confirmed by his supervisor. I am not happy shopping with you because I didn't get any information from your shop before you cancel my order ,but , when I called the customer care team got the answer was because I ordered too much baby milk in one transaction. If drivers cannot delivery items then you should let me know earlier. “Training of staff poor”

My local Sainsbury's on the Fulham Road, corner or Redcliffe Gardens, never ceases to astonish and disappoint. I chase staff to serve me, I am overcharged, and to get errors sorted out is a nightmare. If I forget to give my nectar card over before paying my bill, the look I get is one of indignatio. When I ask for my points to be added; 'You didn't give me your card' is what I get. No, I didn't but many stores ask for the points card. I walk away the loser on many levels. “Loyal customer of 30+ years now boycotting Sainsburys”

I have been a Sainsburys customer for over 30 years and over that time have seen their standards decline immeasurably and their attitude to their once loyal customer base is appalling. Whats wrong with this company that the staff is always rude and miserable? Its my local in Brixton I visit at least 3 times a week. Apart from 1 or 2 nice guys working there, they are a disaster! “Rude Stalker at Barkingside Branch”

Your member of staff always follows me around the store and has questioned whether me and my wife are togther on a number of occations. I feel he is harrassing us. its clear that the cit backs at Sainsbury are taken place but yet again its the wrong people getting the can. “Getting more expensive”

I am retired and in my mid 60's; I have been shopping weekly in Sainsbury's since I got married over 40 years ago. I now cannot afford to shop there any more. It has got so expensive that my budget won't stretch that far. I am having to shop around for bargains; Sainsbury's allegedly does a price comparison check with other supermarkets. Rubbish!!!!!! “like of communication”

The cash checkout at Preston Road Brighton east Sussex money went inside the machine and somehow was lost at the side loads of change the machine did not register the amount of money I fed it it is clearly a greedy monster. The person in charge asked me 3 times what money had I put in, I had told an assistant once already that's 4 times. “Good Service ”

I have just come home from my weekly shop at Sainsbury's in Folkestone where my hair-brained mother forgot her purse. The cashier was very helpful and I was allowed to go through the checkout and wait at customer services without any fuss or hassle. The woman there was also very nice and friendly and we chatted until my mother returned with money to pay for the shop. “new milk bottle shape spills milk”

If trying to make milk profitable at £1 per 4 pints means you have to save money on the plastic bottle then it seems to have backfired somewhat. The new bottles have a shorter neck and slightly dumpier shape to them. When they are full of milk it is nearly impossible to pour milk from the bottle with out a spill. called into a local Sainsbury and made my way to the bakery counter, watched a very rude member of staff aged about 50 with short hair wearing a hat shout and scream at other members of staff in full view of shoppers, if this was not bad enough she then returned to belittle a Asian gentleman member of staff aged about 35. “Using A Brand Match Voucher AT Shelf Service Check Outs”

“Absolute worst employee/cashiers in London”

I had recently come to London for visiting, and went to Sainsbury's to buy groceries. After seeing what I saw, there is no doubt in my mind that there are worse employee'/cashier in the entire London, if not UK. Well, where do i start? Firstly, the floors of the stores make me feel sick and extremely uncomfortable. The aisles are very messy, they never seem to be cleared up. “Groceries did not show up!!! ”

I placed an order with Sainsbury to be delivered on 22 jun for 9-10pm; However I got a call at 8.55pm on 22 Jun itself to say my order will not be delivered as the payment could not go through!!!
