Avoid buying online its a nightmare, damaged goods delivered refused delivery so want a refund still waiting, stores are fine but you try contacting customer service by phone or email, phone is a premium number & it does not tell you how long you will be waiting, i have tried 3 times over 20 minutes a time no response. 2 emails no response. “No pensioner discount given on items”

I am a pensioner and get a 10% discount on a Wednesday. I wanted 12 8x4 sheets of hardboard and waited till today to get a discount. The sheets are £7.95 each, but if you buy 5 or more they are £6.54 each. I worked it out that they would cost me £78.48 before my pensioner discount. After discount they would cost me £70.64. Placed an order online after viewing flooring in a store as too heavy to put in my car. Very simple, chose delivery date in 10 days time and thought no more of it. The evening before delivery I checked my online account as I'd heard nothing and found the delivery date today not tomorrow as expected. Too late to call so called the next morning at 8am but gave up after 49 mins on hold. “Fitted Kitchen”

WHY WHY WHY did I not take notice of the reviews on here? I wanted a new kitchen and shopped around. The thing that made me choose B&Q was the recommendation from WHICH. WHICH, the peoples champion, I thought I cant go wrong. I was told that their best fitter would do the job. “Terrible customer service”

They lost our order but took the money. After about 5 calls and being put on hold for about 2 hours in total we had to contact our bank to get a code. When rang back they still messed about and kept putting us on hold. No apology and totally inefficient. “Hopeless Non Existent Delivery Service”

B&Q use a delivery company, DX Freight, for my flooring that never phone me to arrange delivery, and never answer their phone on many repeated occasions for 10 minutes at a time. Emails to their email address all bounce back. Their tracking website is of no use. The B&Q delivery department have been advised but they have been of no help also. What is the point of providing a delivery service if they don't want to talk to the customer to arrange delivery? My advice to everyone is to not buy… Read Full Review

“Dont bother unless you want to me messed about”

Ordered tiles online along with grout etc. The grout and other bits were due on the Thursday and although it did come, it was around 7pm so could of not bothered waiting in had i known. Anyway on opening the 2 boxes, I found that out of 12 items that were supposed to be there, only 2 had arrived. “Awful, Awful, Awful!”

On the 6th April I took a full day off work (delivery between 8am & 6pm)to take receipt of 6 internal doors. Why B&Q can't offer am or pm slots I'm not quite sure? Anyway, at 8.19am I received a generic text stating my delivery was due and gave a link to track the delivery (which was a waste of time as no other information was available). “Where's my flooring?”

I placed an order online for 11 boxes of laminate flooring which wasn't available to collect in store and added on 9 lengths of Scotia and a door threshold to match. These were all supposed to be delivered today. At 11am a van pulled up and 2 men got out. One said there was only part of my order. The sheet had 2 items but they only had one for me. “feel like a fool ”

“Terrible Service! Never Again! ”

Received a marketing email with a great offer on a Karcher pressure washer which I purchased online immediately. The price was debited from my credit card on the same day. On the day of delivery I waited in all day and the item did not arrive so I called B&Q to be told the item was not in stock and they would not fulfil the order. Having received an order from B and Q which was faulty, I tried to telephone for advice on how to proceed with a replacement. I am so tired of hearing the 'please continue to hold' - I did! “Diamond card vouchers”

I recently received a new diamond card and was told I would receive a £5 off voucher. This voucher was received by email. As I do not have a printer I contacted B and Q by e mail and asked how I could redeem this voucher. Arranged for a bathroom to be fitted. Cancelled as B and Q couldn't keep to the date agreed. Contract says they will refund within 14 days using the same method of payment used to pay for the order.
