In the middle of a kitchen and bathroom installation. B&Q customer service is terrible. Work tops a mess DON'T PURCHASE GEM STONE!! We need it ripping out as nothing like the display sample. Still waiting for parts as delivered faulty or wrong item delivered or totally missed off order. Ended up having to do my project management as B&Q as useless as a chocolate teaspoon. “Lack of stock”

Needed to buy some coving for my kitchen. Went to my nearest store but they had no stock of what I require, nothing unusual all there then. So drove to the store at Gilesgate, again no stock on the shelf,asked about ordering it and was told to go to customer service. When they finally found what I wanted on ther system I was told they had 28 lengths but did not know where it was. I then had to drive to Darlington Store where I was able to buy the coving. I was advised that my order no. xxxxxxx would be delivered on 12th July, 2016 between 8 a.m and 6 p.m. when it had not been delivered by 6.45 I phoned and was told that my order had not arrived at the Northampton store. “click and collect service was shambolic”

Ordering 9 rolls of wallpaper seemed easy enough. We were informed by email that the wallpaper would be ready to collect by lunchtime the next day. Next day we decided to drive out in the direction of the store and carry out some other errands, and then collect the wallpaper around 2.30. We were told it hadn't been delivered- we were supposed to wait for a phone call. “B&Q Cant Deliver”

On the 31st May I ordered a Ripley Garden set from B&Q I was advised it would be delivered 7th June, it did not arrive, I chased no reason was given as to why it had not been delivered nor any clue when delivery would be arranged, they just kept saying that it was the delivery companies fault. “Order cancellef by B and Q day before delivery dur”

Having placed an order on 22nd June my order was cancelled on the 5th July the day before delivery was expected on the 6th July by B and Q. A message was left on my answering machine which I was dissapointed to recieve but to add insult to injury I then recieved an email saying that I had cancelled the order. “Appalling customer service!!”

We bought some new kitchen units (some in store and some on line) plus some plinths for the bottom of the units. The actually quality of the units was good overall and have given us a great finish. However the delivery service was completely ridiculous. From 1 order, we had 3 separate deliveries as they came from different suppliers (some could be delivered weekends, other couldn't so we had 3 days to wait in). I bought what I assumed was a new hedge trimmer 2 weeks ago. Due to rain I never opened it as it was in a box with tape on it. today I opened it to trim the hedge, only to find that the product had been used before and still had bits of leaves on it! and wasn't even working.
I contacted the store and I asked that they send me a replacement and take their second hand item back. I was refused! I was told to either send it to them or take it back for a refund!
The customer care is seriously disgusting and appalling. I will never shop at B&Q again.

“Delivery service ”

We received confirmation email that all 9 doors we ordered would arrive today (17th) but we only received two. The others are apparently sat in Crewe defo since this morning? Avoid buying online its a nightmare, damaged goods delivered refused delivery so want a refund still waiting, stores are fine but you try contacting customer service by phone or email, phone is a premium number & it does not tell you how long you will be waiting, i have tried 3 times over 20 minutes a time no response. 2 emails no response. “No pensioner discount given on items”

I am a pensioner and get a 10% discount on a Wednesday. I wanted 12 8x4 sheets of hardboard and waited till today to get a discount. The sheets are £7.95 each, but if you buy 5 or more they are £6.54 each. I worked it out that they would cost me £78.48 before my pensioner discount. After discount they would cost me £70.64. Placed an order online after viewing flooring in a store as too heavy to put in my car. Very simple, chose delivery date in 10 days time and thought no more of it. The evening before delivery I checked my online account as I'd heard nothing and found the delivery date today not tomorrow as expected. “Terrible customer service”

They lost our order but took the money. After about 5 calls and being put on hold for about 2 hours in total we had to contact our bank to get a code. When rang back they still messed about and kept putting us on hold. No apology and totally inefficient. “Hopeless Non Existent Delivery Service”

B&Q use a delivery company, DX Freight, for my flooring that never phone me to arrange delivery, and never answer their phone on many repeated occasions for 10 minutes at a time. Emails to their email address all bounce back. Their tracking website is of no use. The B&Q delivery department have been advised but they have been of no help also.
