“Dreadful Customer Service”

I ordered a carpet for home delivery. The assistant was unable to tell me when it would be delivered other than 'the carpet would be delivered soon'. 4 days later I called the store to enquire about my order delivery - their response 'Will be there in a few days'! I have contacted Customer Services twice by email - they cannot be bothered to reply. I recommend that you do not buy any item for home delivery - I do not trust them! “Fitted kitchen”

We wanted a new kitchen went to B&Q had the design done on the Cad system and it was explained that the fitting was fully project managed (ha ha).After deliberation we decided to go with this even though the fitting was as much as the kitchen. The kitchen was delivered the week before installation with pieces missing and the corner base unit badly damaged! We recently purchased some of our new kitchen from B&Q. We found the staff excellent and incredibly helpful, they couldn't have done more to help us. The designer showed great experience and had some excellent ideas for our new kitchen. She helped us to make some important decisions and offered advice about different colour schemes and the products available. “Help from staff”

Cannot over state how helpful I have found staff at Worthing B&Q . I have occasionally returned items, and have found the customer services dept,to be courteous patient and extremely helpful. I am using the "paint" and "electrical" sections very regularly at the present time and cannot overstate how knowledgeable and helpful they are. “DO not order home delivery unless you live on main road”

Do not order from these clowns , according to them deliveries are made with artic lorries so you WILL have issues if you do not live on main roads. They say in the small print not to start or schedule work to until they have made there delivery. So order was 5 days late ( already waited nearly 4 weeks after order date)and according to them its tough luck because i could not get a 18 wheel artic up my road enough though you can get a 8 wheel concrete lorry . “New Kitchen, Bathroom - Don't Use Them”

I had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted. They deliver excess fittings just in case they are needed and then collect the excess with a promise that you will be refunded. The refund never arrives. You pay for a certain amount of replastering to be done but they don't do it all and don't give you a credit for the sq m not done. “Huddersfield store Bedding Plants”

Called into Huddersfield store for bedding plants today and what a poor show.Prices gone up a lot from last year but even worse plants in poor condition. Several delivery trolleys still had flowers on them from delivery 7 days ago and dying from lack of water. Note on trolleys showed delivery 18.4.17 today is 24.4.17. on ordering a lawn mower from their Handforth store, they were helpful in ordering one from their neares store in Ashton where they had stock via click and collect, having made a 25 mile round trip was told it was out of stock, no phone call no email, and to cap it all I think their customer services chat line , email system and call center seem to have been abducted by aliens. Well, been paying the 0% finance for 3 months, bathroom all planned for May 8th, then they call and cancel,they will not e able to do until August. Had enough of the "we'll get back to you today", they are sacked. Just got to get finance cancelled and reimbursed. How that will ever get sorted I do not know. “Diabolical Customer services and rubbish home delivery”

This is the second occasion that B&Q have promised delivery and nothing has turned up, no goods, no phone call, and don't even bother to try calling customer services to find out where the items you have paid for and are patiently awaitng, have gone. “they sell too many poor quality products”

had to give 1 star as a minimum. for too long now i go to B&Q out of convenience. products are cheap but not in costs. they make it difficult for you to replace expecting you to keep the little scrap of paper they call a receipt. i am sick of electrical products failing well before even 12 months is up. replaced all my electrical switches and one by one the internal switch rockers have disintegrated meaning you cant turn the lights on or off. the latest is pack of 4 daill LED 4.8w bulbs been… Read Full Review

“Appalling customer services experience- laminate flooring ”

II bought a load of laminate flooring from B & Q, I've never had a problem with them before and had been a good customer. During installation I noticed the boards popping up, I telephoned their customer service who were very apologetic and told me to take lots of photos. “Extremely poor customer service and poor quality paint.”

The guy doing the plastering and decorating has worked for me for years and knows his stuff.
