“Kitchen fitting”

Brought a kitchen from b&q and waited three months for it to be fitted. The staff were great when we brought it and really pleased with the surveyor who came out. Unfortunately I don't think the fitters looked at the kitchen plans, numerous errors when has really delayed the fitting. Been living in chaos for ages and the fitter never turned up on time and then left early. A three- four day job has turned into two weeks and still not completed. “Poor product but excellent customer service.”

I was disappointed with the valspur wall and ceiling paint that I bought from B&Q in Weston-super-Mare. I am quite experienced with decorating, in that I have always done my own, to a good standard. Despite using a new roller on a very good wall the finish was patchy and not good. I waited for the wall to dry between coats for the time advised on the tin and do not consider that I over worked the paint.I gave the wall four coats all together. Spent over £5000 here on a kitchen. Kitchen arrived cooker was too follow arranged a delivery date waited in for cooker never arrived. Now according to them they have none in stock until August yet mine should have been delivered? I now have a kitchen with no cooker and 2 young children. Also am paying for something I don't have. “wont replace faulty product”

“Ordering kitchen goods through the stores”

This is an appalling service that has been blamed on the computer and then the technical team. The store at Blackburn had our money on the 5th June the goods were cancelled (kitchen worktops)! on the 6th June because of the errors they were making and moving the date of delivery to later and later. It is now 7th July and still No Refund Yet, absolutely disgusted particularly as we spend thousands with them as we have a building business. “Poor Kitchen Service”

Kitchen order (in excess of £3K). Units were delivered. We were informed that quantities and unit descriptions must be checked post 45 days of delivery. Not a problem because we had scheduled our joiner to fit the kitchen over 3 days from the 2 of May. “Wrong items, several deliveries to get bcomplete kitchen..”

My Mum bought a Kitchen from B&Q spending over £6000 on it. The B&Q designer sold her a lot of components which were surplus to requirements and had to be returned for a refund after the job was finished. The fitting cost quoted was nearly twice that available from a variety of experienced fitters we found locally (we used one of them). “Online ordering”

Ordered 2 lawnmowers on Thurs 1st June 17, one for next day delivery and one for delivery within 2 days (excl Sat/Sun). First one arrived next day as expected, 2nd one did not arrive on Monday 5th as expected. Rang them late morning on Tuesday. On hold for 10 minutes before someone came on the line. After checking, he told me that there had been a problem with the 2nd item. “Kitchen Knightmare”

B&Q HOMEFIT Kitchen and flooring. Two week Kitchen and flooring now into 5 weeks going on six. Bearing in mind I am disabled lost my wife at Christmas and wanted to make the kitchen easier for myself to move around and use. “Dreadful Customer Service”

I ordered a carpet for home delivery. The assistant was unable to tell me when it would be delivered other than 'the carpet would be delivered soon'. 4 days later I called the store to enquire about my order delivery - their response 'Will be there in a few days'! We wanted a new kitchen went to B&Q had the design done on the Cad system and it was explained that the fitting was fully project managed (ha ha).After deliberation we decided to go with this even though the fitting was as much as the kitchen. We recently purchased some of our new kitchen from B&Q. We found the staff excellent and incredibly helpful, they couldn't have done more to help us. The designer showed great experience and had some excellent ideas for our new kitchen. She helped us to make some important decisions and offered advice about different colour schemes and the products available. “Help from staff”

Cannot over state how helpful I have found staff at Worthing B&Q . I have occasionally returned items, and have found the customer services dept,to be courteous patient and extremely helpful. I am using the "paint" and "electrical" sections very regularly at the present time and cannot overstate how knowledgeable and helpful they are. “DO not order home delivery unless you live on main road”

Do not order from these clowns , according to them deliveries are made with artic lorries so you WILL have issues if you do not live on main roads. They say in the small print not to start or schedule work to until they have made there delivery.
