“The worst experience as a customer ever”

I would never visit a B&Q store ever again. I ordered a garden shed for delivery and assembly as I am disabled. I paid in store and explained that my back garden was next to farmland so the shed would either have to come through the house or around the back along a path next to the field. Visited B & Q yesterday, to purchase a gas fire Luckily my husband is a gas safe engineer. first there was none in stock in any style. Second asked to view online and order, the customer service assistance didn't have a clue, eventually found one we liked, then sent on a tour around the store to order and pay only to end up back where we started after being turned away by 3 customer service assistants. “Turning half our B and Q into an Aldi !!”

They are turning half of B and Q Northampton into an Aldi... How is that progress? People go there due to the wide range of stuff they know they can get. The move round has only just started and the staff at trade point say it's gone dead. Like the town needs a 3rd or 4th Aldi anyway! “Terrible experience with online ordering”

My dad recently purchased (online) a garden set (table, parasol and 4 chairs). On the delivery day he attempted to find out a rough time they would be delivered but after a long while waiting on the phone was told that there was only 2 chairs and a table loaded onto the lorry so it wasn't going to be delivered. No attempt to contact him to tell him this however. “kitchen purchase and installation”

Looks like we are having to take B & Q to Court. " Don't count on any
compensation any time soon" We have asked on Twitter for people with

“low or out of stock”

What is happening to B&Q They are not what they used to be.frequently out of stock, not putting customer first. Selling packs of 4 or 5 items when when only one is required but refusing to sell individual piece. low on stock and a high mark up in prices. B&Q is very expessive. The self service tills are old technology unreliable and slow and now ive noticed only use cards not cash. “Preston Homefit - Terrible customer service”

I ordered a kitchen through B+Q Store in Bury who could not have been more helpful. The whole planning and ordering stage went really well I couldn't be more satisfied. The fitting was then passed to the Homefit team at Preston where it all went down the toilet. I has given a fitting date of the Monday 8/8/16. The kitchen was scheduled to be delivered on the 6/8/16. Do not every buy from them, trust me they are the worst in costumer service. They stole my money and refused to give me back my refund. They owe me 80 pounds and after chasing them for 3 months they still have not paid me!!! In the middle of a kitchen and bathroom installation. B&Q customer service is terrible. Work tops a mess DON'T PURCHASE GEM STONE!! We need it ripping out as nothing like the display sample. Still waiting for parts as delivered faulty or wrong item delivered or totally missed off order. Ended up having to do my project management as B&Q as useless as a chocolate teaspoon. Needed to buy some coving for my kitchen. Went to my nearest store but they had no stock of what I require, nothing unusual all there then. So drove to the store at Gilesgate, again no stock on the shelf,asked about ordering it and was told to go to customer service. Ordering 9 rolls of wallpaper seemed easy enough. We were informed by email that the wallpaper would be ready to collect by lunchtime the next day. Next day we decided to drive out in the direction of the store and carry out some other errands, and then collect the wallpaper around 2.30.
