“two delivery' both wrong”

“feel like a fool ”

Paid up front for new kitchen should have taken a week.3 damaged side panels a whole week when nobody came.Tiles had to be taken off and done again all this just before Christmas.It was agreed I should receive compensation 4months later still waiting .Fobbed off with at least a dozen excuses now contacting solicitor.Don't Go To B &Q… Read Full Review

“Terrible Service! Never Again! ”

Received a marketing email with a great offer on a Karcher pressure washer which I purchased online immediately. The price was debited from my credit card on the same day. On the day of delivery I waited in all day and the item did not arrive so I called B&Q to be told the item was not in stock and they would not fulfil the order. B&Q are completely useless!! Ordered items for delivery on 14th March to be delivered Friday 18th - NO SHOW! Got a text message at 11am that day saying due to a 'technical error' the delivery will not be delivered until Monday 21st March - On the phone now and have been told delivery is now Wednesday 23rd March!!! “JUST DONT BOTHER!!!”

Having received an order from B and Q which was faulty, I tried to telephone for advice on how to proceed with a replacement. I am so tired of hearing the 'please continue to hold' - I did! After 19 minutes I gave up! Tried again the next day and eventually spoke to a very polite, understanding lady, who told me the Parts Department would call me back. “Diamond card vouchers”

I recently received a new diamond card and was told I would receive a £5 off voucher. This voucher was received by email. As I do not have a printer I contacted B and Q by e mail and asked how I could redeem this voucher. Was told the only other way was via the app. I do not have a phone that has apps and told them this and asked if they could post out my voucher. I have not received a reply to this question. On Tuesday we went to the bishopric store to buy a front door that we had seen the previous weekend. It was in the clearance section for £150. The display door was above the clearance section so we looked below. Picked the door and went to the checkout. “refund delay”

Arranged for a bathroom to be fitted. Cancelled as B and Q couldn't keep to the date agreed. Contract says they will refund within 14 days using the same method of payment used to pay for the order. “Grumpy checkout operators”

I Don't know what it is that's changed about this store, I have been shopping here for nearly 20 years, but my last two visits were met by grumpy checkout staff, to be honest the new style roller checkouts are a joke, everything sticks and you have to run back and forward pushing everything down the slope, at the same time loading your trolly, this visit items stuck and the command was " push them down or i cant put them through the till, I'm still loading things into the trolly at this point… Read Full Review

I work near a b and q in cork and use it a lot but recently I have noticed I am getting charged more at the till than the marked price it has happened four times now . “Design and customer service”

I went to the Swansea store for a design for the complete refurbishment of our on suite. The assistant spent as long as I required and was extremely helpful. The computer aided design was exceptional with excellent three dimensional pictures of the bathroom. I had queries later on and wish to amend the design which was done without any fuss and the staff will remain friendly and helpful. We went to our Bedford store to design our bathroom, like you the chap there was very helpful and it looked great. We didn't hear anything from B&Q for over two months, then I got a phone call from them to say the design chap had gone on holiday and not come back so they were chasing up on his orders.

That was the start of it all going wrong, we had double deliveries of items, the builder turned up to 'guesstimate' how long it would take. By the end of it all, the builder worked for about 5 hours a day, would disappear to 'get' something and be gone for hours or not came back, went on holiday before it was properly completed, and the finishing like the chrome strips don't fit properly and some tiles were chipped on the edge and disguised with filler and to top it all we now have leak that will mean tiles have to be taken up....We won't be using B&Q again or recommending them..

After 4 weeks we still have lots of small snags to resolve. Certainly did not expect the amount of cleaning their cupboards and appliances would have to do. Their workmen did not even clean up inside cupboards after drilling holes. Their electrician left us without a working boiler for ten days and it took our own boiler company to point out there was no electricity supply to the boiler and fix. I ordered a new Cook and Lewis kitchen which was delivered without a checklist and the driver would not wait whilst it was checked. Upon checking several items were damaged, broken or even missing. Some were replaced immediately but others took several weeks to arrive and indeed 2 items were chased up twice more. I ordered my kitchen and bathroom from B & Q Edge Lane in October 2015 and was promised to get them fitted by Xmas if I paid in full. I stupidly paid in full and then was told it would be February. After making a complaint, I got my bathroom started in December and to date they have not completed it. The sink does not fit right on the units, nothing has been sealed.
