“Appalling customer services experience- laminate flooring ”

II bought a load of laminate flooring from B & Q, I've never had a problem with them before and had been a good customer. During installation I noticed the boards popping up, I telephoned their customer service who were very apologetic and told me to take lots of photos. “batery operated tools”

I want to aware all potential customers : Don`t buy power/cordless tools in any B&Q stores anywhere in UK, my the worst experience ever for last 23 yrs in this lovely country. “Extremely poor customer service and poor quality paint.”

We are currently in the process of renovating our house. As part of this we have had all the walls re-plastered. The guy doing the plastering and decorating has worked for me for years and knows his stuff. “About the most difficult shop I've ever tried to order...”

B&Q really do make like difficult when trying to order ! Aside from the difficulty of finding what you want in the first place ( the search terms are poor and not additive in terms of conditionality ), the website order form(s) would suggest an item in stock for 'Click and Collect' in one branch, then not but instead at another, then on the final stages quoting me 'click and collect' from another branch. “Wrong Closing Times ”

I went to the B&Q Warrington Branch this evening after looking on their web site for their closing time. It said the closing time was 9.00 pm. I arrived before 8.00 pm and shortly after It was announced the store was closed and would all customers go to the tills. “MDF Cutting Service Cardiff Gate”

“Company that never hives back to charity's ”

It is one of the worst stores that one can imagine, both in terms of customer service and customer complaint resolution. “Beware of B+Q sinks and how they fleece your money”

Bought cook + lewis lunda single bowl sink . plumber tried to fit it but found the overflow pipe is non-standard, discontinued and generally not available to trade suppliers. We recently had our kitchen designed & fitted by B&Q as we mistakenly thought they were experts in this area. What was scheduled to take 1 week actually took 1 month with no water in our kitchen & no cooking facilities! The cost was £10,000 and for that we were expecting an efficient proffessional service. We are having a kitchen fitted by B and Q and are now on week three and no where near completion. We have children in the house and have no cooking facilities and no sink in the kitchen. I am completely and utterly fed up with it. Did you get any compensation back?

“Selling Products online which they don't have.”

I am horrified how the B&Q company can sell a product online and then 4 days later call you and tell you they don't have it anymore, however they have already taken your money. It then takes 2 weeks for them to get it back to you and they don't even offer a substitute. Unlike most small companies operating on Ebay etc.if they sold a product they didn't have in stock Ebay would BAN them from trading on Ebay. B&Q don't even seem to care. “Valspar mixed paints at B&Q”

Firstly if your looking to buy paint that's mixed while you wait then go with Dulux if you want quality reliable paint. I have always seemed hesitant in the past from buying valspar paint and I think that was because of the price... and because it was a brand I had never heard of. “If you shop here, check your receipt !!”

Bought roll of clean-up paper which said £2 on the ticket but was charged £3. Went back to customer services who said that £3 was the right price, the £2 was the 'trade' price. No notices up advising of that, just a plain white card with a big black £2 figure on it. Not offered a refund. They won't publish this COMMENT (NOT a FULL REVIEW)on a kitchen tap: Agree with the comments about the O-ring. It is too small for standard size tap holes (which are 35mm ish) so the seal is poor. “Don't use B&Q!”

My parent's bathroom was supposed to be completely fitted by the 5th October. So far they have had 1 overpayment charged, 2 incorrect deliveries, 1 broken shower tray, 2 days to which the fitter failed to arrive and now they have half a bathroom. Their original bathroom was ripped out 30th September ready for the new one to be fitted in its place - we are still waiting for this to be completed.
