“Rubbish Refund policy.”

Went to B&Q to get a refund on some door handles costing £23. Was refunded £15 credit note & £6.49 on my credit card!!!! I had bought goods for £76. Because I had used a £15 credit note they would only give me a credit note. Because I had used a £5 money off voucher a portion of this was used on every product I had bought. Hi all If you go into b&q then I his wont be news. They have lots of staff wondering about who have long title to no knowledge,,,, about trades Don't get me wrong I have used the Grimsby store for sometime, but based on the fact I have always known what to get I have not had a major issues I'm gong the o make a prediction that b&q will be gone within 10 years as they have no competent experienced staff on site Management who vet application might like to look at older experienced persons… Read Full Review

“Delivery a joke”

Bought two worktops from B&Q Bolton was told delivery would be on Friday the following week, van arrived early as one of the first deliveries but was told they could not get to the worktops as they had been loaded onto the vehicle first so they were at the front of the vehicle and could not be reached was told that delivery would have to be rearranged. Got delivered today waste and overflow for bath. Online B&Q says 10 years guarantee but on package that is been delivered is written 2 years guarantee. B&Q lie to their costumers and sell cheap overpriced crap.Be careful!… Read Full Review

i went to queensbury BnQ to buy few paint rollers and white colors. it was just next to exit but the customer service was so poor that they didnt know where it was happened on sunday 17/01/2016. didnt want to help, two assistant were busy talking. next day went as was monday thought more staff. once again an asian male aged in 25s and a black lady(staff) were talking in the paint isle didnt even look at me block the isle with her big ass couldnt go through the isle. never going in again. “Incorrect pricing and damaged stock”

Just been to B&Q for Kota board and found so much 'damaged end' stock I had to move lots to find good stock. The Kota adhesive was on shelf with £5 in front of it and I was charged £8. Very very unhappy customer especially when a member of staff kept telling me I could use the self service till with my card after I said cash payment. “Customer service the worst ever”

I bought a kitchen was told it would take 10 days to fit, that went to 26 as they got the work tops wrong so was with no hob or sink for almost 4 weeks. Called in November to get some repairs done as unit doors are twisted, and the gloss is coming off others. Still waiting in middle of January to get the repairs, they tell me when I call they have no record of me calling and asking for repairs, that happened twice, eventually someone noted that I was calling, but still no one out to carry out… Read Full Review

“review light and B&Q customer service that they deleted”

I bought these lights a few months ago for a new kitchen. To date, 3 of the 6 bulbs have broken and B&Q no longer stock these bulbs. Quoting another electrical shop "B&Q keep selling obsolete stock". The bulbs are £7 each or £6 from the place that B&Q customer services recommend. However, they are not made any more, so when these run out, I will be cooking in the dark!!B&Q have offered to exchange them but the lights are now half the price of what we paid and will not pay for the electrician… Read Full Review

“Bad Customer service”

I am a builder, I stopped going to B & Q for a while now because of bad customer service. I went 2 days ago and bought a roll of felt to refelt a shed roof. Took it back to the job then found it had been damage by a fork lift truck. You could see where the fork had gone right thought the felt. Go 15 miles back to B&Q but superviser only want to give me a third of my money back. I ask to Speke to the manager but they can't find him. If you are looking for a kitchen please go elsewhere as this mobs delivery service and communication skills are bloody awful. Its a shame, as the kitchen quality is good and the carcasses are made by Norbord. Ordered a 6 grand kitchen 6 weeks ago. Kitchen delivered on time with critical parts missing. They had 6 weeks to get this right. Tried calling only to be moved piler to post. When I did get through I was asured that they would come on th 21st and by courier on 23rd of December. What a joke this company is! I ordered some items for click and collect. Paid for, confirmation email given. Was told my items would be ready after 12pm the next day. Went in at 5pm ish. They couldn't find my order, I was told to wait another 24 hours! I looked around the store and one of my items was on the shelves, I asked if I could take that, but they couldn't because they can't split an order! “Delivery times are a joke.”

Don't believe the 'WITHIN 14/28 days' delivery statement on the website. I have a large order for 'WITHIN 14/28 days' and have been given a delivery date of 37(!) days on the confirmation email AFTER ordering and paying. There was no warning that continuing the order will result that some items will delay all the others. It turns out two of the item types (5 pieces) are out of stock and causing the other 28 pieces to be held back. The out-of-stock items are still showing as 'delivery within 14… Read Full Review

The sales man was really good did the design went through everything listed all items did picture layouts so we were happy with that side of things to start with.
