I purchased an item from argos and paid for the same day delivery "fast track" got a time slot of 10am to 1pm waited in no show so rang up the so called help centre no answer to why no delivery was made, maybe if the girl had 2 brain cells pointing in the same direction we might have go somewhere anyway a time slot of 2pm to 6pm the next day was given for delivery and guess what no show once again called the bull*** department and got another idiot claiming to be a manager reason for no… Read Full Review

“Terrible Customer Service - won't ever shop at Argos...”

Having had several very reliable Panasonic microwaves in the past I chose a Panasonic made combi as a present for my daughter. After a month the house fuses tripped and the microwave went dead. Argos replaced it. Nine months later the fuses tripped and microwave went dead. Rather than replace like with failing like, Argos suggested a refund and said it would collect the microwave. “Better than John Lewis for kitchen appliances”

I bought a Delonghi toaster from Argos.com using their fast track. The item was available within hours of placing the order, I picked it up within minutes using the fast track queue. Perfect. John Lewis on the other hand were terrible. Took a few days for the item to be available for pick up, and then took 30mins for them to find the item when I went to pick it up. “Terrible delivery and extremely poor customer service”

Arranged delivery for Mon 19/09/16, upon arriving at my flat with the fridge freezer, the two men declined taking it to my kitchen upstairs, then get me to speak to their manager on the phone. He agreed to send 3 men the next day to take it to my kitchen, agreed time from 12.00pm. “Missed delivery dates and poor customer service.”

On 24th November 2015 I made an order online for a three piece suite and was given a delivery date of 18th December between 10am & 2pm. I recieved a text message confirming this and my old suite was taken away the day before the expected delivery. “Argos stores great ! - call centre /head office poor ! ”

Purchased a leather sofa, picked delivery date on a Sunday which was 5 days from ordering.... Delivery driver phoned and asked if he could come earlier, fab, delivered and sofa is very good, real leather! “Mobile phone returns ”

I would like to update everyone regarding the 30 day exclusion policy for argos for mobile phones. Argos States once you purchase a mobile and unless faulty they will not exchange or refund . The terms and conditions surrounding there unlocked phones is vague as they do not garuntee that the network you require will work on one of there unlocked handsets. “Home Delivery NO-SHOW!”

I ordered a Mattress on 1/11/15, to be delivered 22/11/15. it didn't turn up, no one phoned me, I waited in, then I phoned ARGOS at 4:45pm to be told the delivery had been cancelled, they could deliver it in the day on wednesday (no good for people who work) or on 16th December after 6pm. I asked if they could guarentee delivery, they said no because if delivery was running late the evening slots are the ones cancelled! This is so so true. We have just had THREE failed delivery slots for a cabin bed. All of them were evening slots. Despite confirmation that the order was out for delivery at 7pm on 26/11/15 no one turned up. The other delivery slots are completely incompatible for people with children. I give up and will be finding a bed elsewhere. PLEASE AVOID ARGOS!
