Purchased a leather sofa, picked delivery date on a Sunday which was 5 days from ordering.... Delivery driver phoned and asked if he could come earlier, fab, delivered and sofa is very good, real leather! “Mobile phone returns ”

I would like to update everyone regarding the 30 day exclusion policy for argos for mobile phones. Argos States once you purchase a mobile and unless faulty they will not exchange or refund . The terms and conditions surrounding there unlocked phones is vague as they do not garuntee that the network you require will work on one of there unlocked handsets. “Farce Track - Pathetic!!!!!!”

Fast Track - what a waste of time. Its taken 50 hours of calls only to find out that the 4k TV they sent me is second hand with an argos bracket on the back, as it came of the wall in the store and now it is returned, they now want me to get another one and pay for it. “Home Delivery NO-SHOW!”

I ordered a Mattress on 1/11/15, to be delivered 22/11/15. it didn't turn up, no one phoned me, I waited in, then I phoned ARGOS at 4:45pm to be told the delivery had been cancelled, they could deliver it in the day on wednesday (no good for people who work) or on 16th December after 6pm. I asked if they could guarentee delivery, they said no because if delivery was running late the evening slots are the ones cancelled! This is so so true. We have just had THREE failed delivery slots for a cabin bed. All of them were evening slots. Despite confirmation that the order was out for delivery at 7pm on 26/11/15 no one turned up. The other delivery slots are completely incompatible for people with children. I give up and will be finding a bed elsewhere. PLEASE AVOID ARGOS!

“Never had trouble”

Honestly, I have never had trouble with Argos. They take back with no quarrel. I use the reserve system mostly,(and sometimes I don`t pick the stuff up)- but I am now using Fast Track - when you pay online. No queuing, no taking credit card, your own queue no hassle. Obviously different branches have problems, but in East Kent (Westwood, Ramsgate, 2 Canterbury stores) we are being served well by Argos… Read Full Review

Disgraceful service from Argos, let down by store manager. Failed to understand the problem. Refused to refund an item i returned. “Home delivery - extremely poor”

Have been sat on the floor for a week following a failed delivery of a sofa from Argos. It just didn't turn up, no contact, nothing. Contacted customer services the next day who couldn't have been less interested - system error apparently led to my order not being processed. I can see why many reviews are so bad. Went into store  and they had no staff. Had to wait one hour for something I had already ordered. Parking charges are absolutely dreadful. Sent pictures to customer service team and they were not interested. I emailed to have managers email and all they do is refuse, all you get is an apology. There enquiry team is dreadful. I bought two items, a mower and a nest of tables, on-line from Argos which I paid for beforehand as their website said it would save time when collecting items. On arrival at the store (Hanworth) I was told they only had the mower in stock as their depot providing goods had computer problems, so I just took the mower home. “Delivery Time Promises”

We ordered a spa from Argos, we received an email saying it would be with me between 7am and 12 on Saturday, then received a text it would be with me by 12:30 and would rceive a call up to an hour before delivery. 

At 13:45 came no call so phoned then on second attempt after losing contact was told it would be up to another two hours. I asked why I was not informed, no answer other than they were running late, so no concern from transport management no concern from Argos. Another 20 minutes

I recently purchased a Harvard 3 drawer sideboard online. Delivery was as and when stated with no fuss,light assembly of doohandles only . This is a solid cabinet , well constructed and versatile in its use. it now adorns a bedroom and its rich colour and feel makes it all the more worth while to look after it as a cherished item.
