What can I say? Awaiting for my order from a month - the delivery date rescheduled few times, on the delivery date noone appears, noone calls me. Now I did get half of my order - the other part doesn't exist-seriously. They don't have it. The didn't have it for the last month but never told me! In 3 months they expect to have it. “Disgusting Customer Service”

Shocking customer service in store! Staff are rude and unhelpful I bought a product from the store which broke after a few weeks. I went back to the store with a simple complaint about the poor quality of the product only to be accused of breaking the product in front of other customers and staff members. I went to Argos to buy several things for my son. Before going into the store I saw their window display of a lawnmower on sale, it wasn't very attracting and they didn't display the lawnmower instead it was a picture of a lawnmower with a sign next to it saying "Lawnmower on sale" with no figures at all. “Woeful customer service from start to finish!”

Where to start?! My card was blocked when making an internet order as Argos separated it out into 3 different orders for no apparent reason, causing my credit card company to suspect fraudulent activity. we dont use Argos very often but our last trip there, when i was paying i noticed blood on the counter and not just a little, the man who came and cleaned it just wiped it over with tissue! not hygienic at all. We're in exactly the same situation - we ordered dining table set and after 4 weeks we received...table only! They changed delivery date 3 times, then I was waiting home for nothing-no delivery, no phone call. I had to call them 5 times in the past 3 days. Today I received table and found out...the chairs are expected to be arrived END OF JULY! All May I was asking if they can dispatch by the end of the month- they always say yes but it is not true-they sell things they don't have! NEVER AGAIN.

The general service from this store is disgusting. Although they're very happy to replace faulty products, my point is you shouldn't NEED to keep replacing things - it's an inconvenience! “Third return on couch purchased in Nov 2011”

Purchased a Fernando Corner L shaped couch in Nov with a 56 day wait for delivery time. On delivery one of the corner cushions was incorrect. They arranged 2 cushions to be delivered. On delivery the cushions were square back cushions as opposed to the corner diagonal cut cushions. On contacting Argos they said that Meblex the couch provider do not list the corner cushions as spare parts therefore the whole unit had to be replaced!! I purchased a washing machine online from Argos what a mistake they sold me the extra warranty what a load of rubbish this is. The washing machine is now nearly 2 years old and I have hardly used it. “Reserve Online, Collect in Store is Brilliant!”

I love Argos for the reserve online and collect in store functionality of the website. This saved me a LOT of queuing up and waiting around in the shop, which was a relief because when I went in it was ridiculously busy! Still had to wait for the item, but didn't have to wait as long as I would have and the staff were all very apologetic for my waiting time. What do you expect on a Saturday in December though, hey? “Argos break the Consumer Protection Act”

I bought a Dyson hoover for £200 from Argos (not a small amount of money for me). It broke after 5 weeks. I purchased a dining suit from argos and it was delivered damaged. I rang Argos right away and I was told I would have to wait for anything up to 59 days for one pair of chairs to be replaced. I was also told that the suit I wanted to replace had been discontinued, yet if you go on there web-site you can order the same suit and they boast delivery within 14 days and that the product is in stock. My daughter had this bought for her by her Nan for her University course. She had used it for less than two weeks and the handle had come off the stir fry pan. Then when asked if any other item needed replacing, she commented she had to use a tea cloth to transfer the saucepans to her plate as these heated up along with the main body of the pan. “Delivery drivers failed to turn up on 4 occassions!”

Argos have been a nightmare. I bought a sofa bed in good faith. It resembles a trip hazard as its so low on the ground and is expensive for what it is. Cannot fault Argos who willingly changed my PHILLIPS steam generator (cos £199), originaly purchased in Jan 07, had to changed in Feb 08 (due to fault) and again in April 08. The generator went faulty again in Oct 09 and Argos honoured the two year guarantee from the replacement date of April 09. Phillips however were unhelpful and refussed to repair the item as they said it was out of guarantee, from the original purchase date. DONT TOUCH A PHILLIPS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT GOOD AFTER SALES SERVICE....

I've been a faithful customer of Argos for years. I know a lot of people complain about this shop, but my experience has always been good. I have actually noticed an improvement in the service over the years. It started of good enough and now is excellent. I went to Argos last week and bought a heater for our hall.
