Nurofen For Children - My doctor introduced me to this as a slightly stronger alternative to Calpol. My daughter has a tendency to catch ear infections and this started from about three months old. Although the Calpol is excellent at bringing down the temperature, I find that the Nurofen actually takes away the pain. She is not left with any side effects and I am quite happy that this is not too strong for her. I always have a couple of sachets with me for emergencies.
