    Good Points: Very nice tone. A melowness that makes this a really exceptional violin. Well-made with a very nice finish.


    Bad Points: A little difficult to keep tuned, but it is a new fiddle with new strings, etc. The "gig bag" case will take getting used to. It will not stay open and the bow is in a separate compartment in the bottom of the case. I will adapt though.


    General comments: Sofian Zapf Violins 75th Anniversary Edition - Great violin for orchestral or solo classical playing. Nice tone. Very mellow. Pretty finish. The "gig bag" is a little weird though. I like it.
