Good Points: Monster pulling power and torque, exquisite interior and comfort, relaxing and lazy to drive, probably demon off road, for all that matters to 99% of owners....
Bad Points: Fuel consumption not great, what will resale be like in 3 years, assuming VW sells any? Too pricey
General comments: What is the Volkswagen Touareg V10 Diesel? Is it a Wirral and Surrey cruiser a la Porsche Cayenne with a free new chest for the wife+ electric gates with each purchase?,is it cod-faux landowner luxury a la Range Rover, is it the real thing a la Toyota Landcruiser?
The massive V 10 diesel is just such fun, and the cabin is great, so aside from the size of the best it is a really nice, relaxing drive. It just doesen't have an image, and will need to create one to sell, or be the 2nd hand bargain of the century (oil prices permitting) in 3 years!!
