I own a Muramatsu Ex and have never been happier. The sound is amazing, its easy to play and the flute itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an advanced flute.

I have been playing a Muramatsu since 1978 and have found it to be totally reliable. It has worn well and is only now beginning to show slight play in some of the rods in 2008. Keeping the insrument clean and serviced is the secret to a long reliable life.- Read Guest's review (64 words)

Body and key work on the Muramatsu EX is well made.
But for me, the sound from the head is awesome!
I play flute reasonably well and with significant experience, and I service many different flutes. This and the GX are the ones I really look forward to play testing. (There are a few others that show up too, but more pricey.) Excellent value for money. Would like to try that head on a good cheap body such as Yamaha 200 series.- Read Guest's review (155 words)
