Good Points: Exceptionally full featured (Caller ID, speaker phone in handset AND base, caller announcement (speaks caller's name!), jack socket for headset, multi-coloured display) Good sound quality Reliable+robust
Bad Points: Tricky to program LCD display a bit dated Synthesised voice has a slight Basingstoke accent Business styling
General comments: This Panasonic KXTCD735EMC DECT phone with answer machine is about as full-featured as you can get. There's nothing it won't do.
If you've a technical penchant then you'll enjoy the 100-odd page manual which utilises register + value commands to program myriad options in the base station. The default values will probably be adequate, and Panasonic do offer a help line to get you configured, should you need it.
Programming the hand set and phone books is considerably easier, with a simple menu structure, so if you can use a mobile phone it all makes sense. The speaker phone is a boon for when you're put on hold.
The answerphone functionality is just fine, and allows you to skip calls without any hassle, and the standard phone operation is perfect and simple. All in all, this is a great DECT answerphone set, but it's not a polished product.
