I have had my double bass kit for 12 years now , I bought them new. I have a double bass Pro Radial Kit. 24 inch bass drum a 16 and 18 floor tom and , a 6 ,8 , 12 and 14 inch mounted toms. I went to a Gilbralter curved rack mount system , because there were just to many stands to deal with. My cymbal stands are the original Peavey stands, and I incorporated , the tom stands into cymbal stands I now run 14 cymbals. The high hat is a s good as any I have used in the past. and I changed the kick... i am the third owner of the kit and the second owner had to replace the cymbals and stands so they are a lot better than what came with it i would rec amend doing it to the kit eventually. I also replace the base pedal and hi hat pedal but they weren't that bad stock. So really the only issue iv had with it is that the toms move around a lot no matter how hard you tighten them but thats probably from years of getting beaten on so it can take a beating. The sound is a little twangy and kinda... (read more)

I Thought this drums kit was REALLY Good,I've had mine for more than 5 Years Now,Not 1 Problem except the Hi-hit being figety and sometimes the kit might move forward,I would Recommend this to Any one,It's much better than the Pearl EX at my School which is 2 Years old and it already Falling apart,Anyway,The kit is FABULOUS,But the skins might end up bursting so buy some Remo's or Evan's,I don't use this Kit Much anymore,But I use my Roland TD3X Electric Drum Kit w/ Mesh (read more)

The cymbals, the hardware and the snare aren't toO great compared to my expectations but ya that is just me. The cymbals and the hardware definitely have to be replaced but other than that they are good! The toms and the bass drum are great! Eventually the skins need to be replace but after that beautiful!
I have been playing on these drums for 5 years and they are fairly good but i would go for something better for less.

Sound Quality is good for the price and the hi hats are very nice sounding but the heads damage easily and the ride cymbal doesn't sound very good. Nice drum kit, good value for money for beginner or intermediate. (read more)

I love the snare drum and the floor tom, great sounds and a good rock sound. The hi hat stand was a bit to figety but not to bad and the bass drum, it was too deep but nothing a pillow can't fix. (read more)

Great overall kit that isn't just beginner's kit. I've been playing for a year and half on a Tama kit and this Peavey set won my respect. It handles travel well and I can play just about anything in any genre with it. (read more)

After 1.5 years it still sounds great. Although some parts need to be changed (eg. cymbals, snare, hats) cuz the peavey ones just dont give me the sound I'm looking for. Overall good sound. (read more)

It fell to bits in five minutes, I thought it was poor, especially the symbols, skins disintegrated. I would not recommend these drumkits, your much better off looking a www.drumstore uk.co.uk, its an excellent site If you want quality for small amounts of money, its the sight for you (read more)

Really??? It fell apart in 5 min??? Your either drumming with clubs for sticks or your a moron I'm voting for the later. My friend has a peavey kit its not awesome but it won't fall apart in five minutes either. In my opinion its a good budget drum kit for the money. Guys like this dude buy budget gear and expect it to preform like top of the line stuff. They aren't
pearl or Ludwig but their not doodie either.

This kit Sounds great & lasts very long. The snare sounds a bit tinny but can be fixed with tissue paper and tape, or maybe try lining it with oak or something. Overall I would say that this is an amazing sounding drum kit and in future I'm always going with Peavey.

Accoustic drums in general are loud. Make sure you have sound padding on walls. We use computer mouse pads to soften the volume and stuff the bass drums with blankets! Of course , if you are able to sound proof the walls, be my guest to rock! Peavey International series are absolutely worth your investment. (read more)

Apart from the snare and the throne its top value, still undecided on the crash cymbal (i bought some new ones and the peavey one does not compare) I think peavey should improve the stands because they are low quality and i know they do make better stand because i've got one. Rock on!!! (read more)
