I like to be updated with the latest fashion trends and that is why I subscribed to Cosmopolitan. It gives you a quick overview of what is in and what is not. Be it make-up, clothing, accessories or tips to enhance looks, the magazine has it all! (read more)

The main problem with this magazine is that there is almost no fashion, and very little information about the clothing/ensembles that are being showcased. As a magazine subscriber, this is the main reason I buy magazines. The articles have absolutely no news worthiness and are very few. Usually the main celeb articles go on for about a page. Honestly, wikipedia has more information and written in a more intriguing style. And, yes, most people buy the magazine because of the information on... (read more)

I received a cosmopolitan subscription for christmas and believe it to be my best christmas present by far. Every issue is full of contrasts between high fashion and high street trends, which provides an insight in to the must have trends of each month. i particularly like the problem pages and celebrity interviews. overall a great women's magazine.

I really enjoy cosmo. mag. However, I recently paid to renew my subscription, paid by cheque #864on april 14,2007 and now I received a bill for $18.00 the amount I just paid! With billing, you should include a phone number to get matters like this taken care of. (read more)

As respected as Cosmopolitan magazine is, I have to say that people who use it as their bible are either as thick as a plank, or as shallow as a puddle. If a magazine that tells you how inadequate you are, and only shows pictures of size six women, making you feel obese for being a normal(ish) size 10/12, is worth paying that amount of money for, then fine, but personally when you're not fighting your way through the adverts, you're drooling over items you can't, and never will be able to... Though I have never actually bought a copy of Cosmopolitan, as I'm still reading the hugely popular teen version, "Cosmo Girl". I have glanced the pages looking for the remotely interesting stuff, which appears to be nothing to do with fashion, but music and movie reviews. I noticed the increasing amount of advertisements in the magazine as well as insurmountable pages dedicated to diets and celebrity tips.
The amount of articles based on men and sex is out of proportion, how can...

Although Cosmopolitan is a bit costly, its worth almost every penny. It has positive attitudes towards people not just stick thin people but people of different shapes and sizes. Its trying to help create the supermodel within. (read more)

I totally disagree with the stance some people take with women's magazines such as Cosmopolitan, I love reading this magazine, it is full of tips, not to turn into a supermodel, but tips on how to boost your confidence, get where you want to be in life, etc. I have never felt while reading this magazine that I was being patronised or being told that I should aspire to be size 6 and that all my problems would be solved. Instead, you get articles about how to be happy with your body shape and... (read more)

"The amount of articles based on men and sex is out of proportion, how can Cosmopolitan call themselves a "Fashion" magazine when it is clearly become more like a porn style mag."

<br>Yes I agree. It really takes away from the magazine. I'm not saying sexual is bad, but the way Hollywood reflects sexual relationships (or one night stands) is reflected in this magazine. And that's coming from an 18 year old!
