Good value and benefits from carole nash motorcycle insurance. Terrible customer service. The staff are friendly, but seem disorganised and on the verge on incompetent when dealing with a simple theft claim.

I have been insuring my classic bike with Carole Nash insurance for years. This last year they still haven't sent my documentation through after 3 months of asking. I intend to get through this year and never use them again.

I have been insuring bikes both classic and modern with Carole Nash since they started, over 25 years ago. They were really good, knew their subject, gave great cover and were reasonably priced. All that has changed, I recently wanted to add another classic bike to my policy for the remaining three weeks until renewal, I eventually got through to an adviser after listening to (and paying for) ten minutes worth of musak, he really could not have cared less, knew nothing about bikes and said he wo ...

Tried to change bike on my 1 month old Carole Nash Motorcycle Insurance policy to a newer bike, Problems and hassles and they wanted an extra £96 on top of what they have already had from me.Cancelled a bike policy after only one month of insurance and lost 75% of the policy cost.Went to another insurance agent and got a better deal much cheaper.Cannot recommend and will not use again.

My daughter hat just received a refund for Carole Nash for £7.00 after having only used 7 months of a 12 month policy which cost £240.00, THIS IS REALLY TAKING THE MICK !!! I myself have been with Carole Nash for 9 years, but I will be changing next time.

    Where do I start?
    Currently own a R1.
Insurance; My insurance with Carole Nash is £600 I have been thinking of changing to a touring bike and have priced up a Honda, Through Honda insurance fully comp with European cover is less than £250, when I called up Carole Nash they asked me for another £70. If I do change I know where I will be going.
Breakdown: I had my bike knocked over in a garage, luckily (I Think) I was in the bathroom at the time, anyhow, Bike was hit quite ha ...

I have been with Carole Nash for many many years now. Over the last few years their customer service has left a lot to be desired.
I renewed my policy with them in June. Arranged payments in four instalments to be taken on specified dates, a service they offered.
The payments were never taken on the dates specified, not even close. Last year they helped themselves to a payment three weeks early!
I have also been waiting for some of my documentation since June. I have phoned on various occasio ...

I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again for this years renewal - what a joke! It seems since the 'Nashs' jumped ship that its gone further down hill then it was 6 months ago!

Please do not, repeat, do not use these guys if you value your machine!

Where do I begin? In 2002 I bought a Moto Guzzi 850 and phoned Carole Nash for a quotation, which I accepted. I gave all the details correctly over the phone, including the fact that I did not have a garage, but the bike would be covered, alarmed and double locked with Thatcham approved chains to a Solid Secure ground anchor in my gated driveway. When the policy arrived, the proposal form showed that I had declared that I had a garage. I phoned them straight away to point out their error, but th ...

I got my motorcycle insurance renewal letter through earlier this week, and the price had gone up from £420 to £780, despite me having another year of no claims bonus. I rang Carole Nash Insurance, and all they said was that the price was about right!! I tried another company, who had not heard of before, but they did it for £355, fully comprehensive on both bikes. Amazingly, the new broker still placed the cover with Equity Red Star; the same company I was with last year with ...

I, like many others here have been with 'Nash'for some years but now no more just been quoted £500 fully comp from them which I got the same cover locally for £275, with a friendly face to deal with!. Its bad enough getting insurance cover these days without being taken for a ride by the insurance company.

When I first signed up with them I was very impressed with the overall service. I took advantage of their immobiliser fitting service, and I opted for the Taurus system (which has never let me down). I've also had to contact Carole Nash Motorcycle insurance to use their recovery service once when my clutch cable snapped, and the guys who came out (I can't remember their name) were pretty good. I haven't had any cause to use them in the last year or so, but a couple of my mates seem to think t ...

Carole Nash Motorcycle Insurance was once a great insurance company. They have no knowledge of bikes, restored bikes and general common sense. Very disappointing.

Make sure you get your agreed value on an agreed value insurance policy before you hand over any money, as they will tried to undervalue my motorbike.

When you get through to a 'supervisor' at Carole Nash Motorcycle insurance, you end up talking to some bit of a kid who knows nothing about biking!! And to think they have the bare faced cheek to call themselves 'bike specialists'. Their logo is 'nobody offers you more' - I would argue that they give you more headaches, charge you more admin fees and give you more grief then any other bike insurer. I would also suggest that rather than spending X amount of pounds on silly stands like they have a ...

I had used Carole Nash motorcycle insurance for a number of years, but like many others, I feel that these days they are just out to make as much profit as possible with the least effort. What a shame for a company that started off being a bikers friend. Same on you.

Initially I was impressed with the Carole Nash Fully Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance policy, but now I am not impressed.

Carole Nash will charge you for your motorcycle insurance when you move to university, and then charge you again when you return to university. Basically, you will be charged every single time you move house. Loyalty to Carole Nash doesn't seem to be worth anything to them.

I will now be looking elsewhere.

Why do Carole Nash Motorcycle Insurance think they can stick extortionate charges on without justification? I have been a customer of theirs for 6 years! Do they really think this engenders brand loyalty?

They want £17 for ANY amendment to your policy. I recently moved house, but I only needed one line of the address and two digits at the end of the post code changed (a total of 11 key strokes). Despite telling them not to do the amendment, they billed me, and when I didn't pay they thr ...

Give Carole Nash Motorbike Insurance a call. It's a free call anyway, so there's no harm in trying. I've just checked out the number for you, and it's 0800 298 5500. From one biker to another, it's the way forward! Great customer service. I've shopped around in the past, but now I've found Carole Nash bike insurance, I won't be leaving!

Carole Nash Fully Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance offers absolutely fantastic cover. Breakdown cover is included in the policy. They have friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are much better than Bennetts, who didn't know what they were talking about!!
