Spoke with the adviser who I found rude, not a very professional tone. I called to cancel my policy part way through as sold my bike, tried telling me I need to pay £350, I was never told about this over the phone when taking policy they just advise you can cancel and to read terms, you should be advised of this key fact. I've only been on the road for a few months now. I went with Carole Nash because my farther has been with them for over 5 years. Their price was reasonable for a 50cc compared to other companies and it was an English call center. about 2 weeks into my policy, i broke down on the a38 near plymouth. Hopefully you'll never need to ring them to claim. The worst insurance company there is, following accident I was told my bike would be collected for inspection, and claim would move forward. After searching to find what had happened in regard to my bike, was told they didn't have it and had no idea where it was! Managed to find it (due to own tracker) it was still at accident site 3 weeks later, never assessed or recovered, I recovered bike to my home. Hi I have just sold my faithful Scimitar SE6A which is very sad but what made it worse was cancelling my insurance with CAROLE NASH - £50 cancellation fee on a fully paid up policy, I said in that case don't cancel it because I have removed the cherished number and it will be on retention so no one can double insure the car but they would not listen and I owe them £50 and if I don't pay they will pass it to their debt collection agency. Do NOT EVER use Carole Nash. I paid about £105 for my motorbike insurance. When I phoned to cancel just 2 months into the policy (after selling my bike), I was told my refund would be just £5 !!! When I queried this, I was told I had to pay a £50 cancellation fee. Yes, really! £50 !!!!! For a £105 policy! Apparently, this is written somewhere hidden deep inside their terms and conditions, deliberately put in a place where no one will see it before they sign up to a policy. “Charged Me £40 to Cancel a Paid Up Policy!”

Great until I sold my bike and called to cancel the policy. I was told that they were going to charge me £39.62 to cancel the FULL PAID UP POLICY. I wish I'd not rang and told them the bike was sold and let the policy runout. How can they be legally allowed to do this? This was a fully paid up. Nothing outstanding and no claims against it. £40 to cancel a policy which still had 6 months left on it. “Automatic renewal takes advantage of the unwary.”

I have insured with Carole Nash several times over the years,and whilst not the cheapest I have found them to be ok. One of the things that I liked was that they did not go in for auto/renewal " to protect me ? " If I could not remember to respond to my renewal notice then I don`t think I should be on the road. “Ridiculously overpriced”

Recently Carole Nash invited me to renew my six wheel insurance policy (bike and car combined) for the outrageous sum of £1028. As a 49 year old driver / rider with 20 years' no claims discount on my car and 15 years' NCD on my bike, this renewal quote was just extraordinary. A quick look on a comparison website allowed me to reinsure my car and motorcycle with two highly reputable insurers (AXA for my car, and Bennetts for my bike) for the total sum of £554. Stay well clear of these people! You would imagine that for paying a premium price you would receive premium service....WRONG WRONG VERY WRONG !! I recently had to cancel a Carol Nash motorbike policy with 8 month still left to run (approx £75.00 of value) and due to cancellation charges Carol Nash Insurance charged me £14.00 for the privilege of cancelling the policy. The company it is not under CAROl Nash anymore (she sold it ) and ever since everything is bad about them. Bad customer services Bad repair centre Rude staff Bad customer complaints dept. I took out what I thought was a dual bike policy for both my modern every day rider and my vintage classic bike; when it came to renewal the price was excessive so I decided to go elsewhere. Had an accident when a car hit us on my bike, phoned them up to start the claim process and that I couldn't remember much about the accident and was going to visit my partner in hospital, phoned back 3 days later with more details and they put me through to their legal team. I Know how you feel
Took them 3 whole months to fix my bike, when i complained of all this big mess i got nothing back but a little apology thru their customer complaints department .
I lost 3 months of paid insurance to them and tax due to them.3 months without a bike (they didnt give a courtesy bike because they said my policy did not cover and by the way the fault was not mine and third party allready admitted liability
Ive been a loyal customer for many years until this happened.

Carol Nash used to be a very good company when it was under Carol Nash but is been sold now so therefore you get a very poor service.
the company are quick to sell you what it seems a good insurance.but it is not
Customer services staff was very rude and try to blame me for their errors

Never again

CAROL NASH GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER BEFORE YOU LOOSE ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS

Had six wheel policy, was in process of buying new car then selling old one. Had to take out new cover on new car, they wouldn't let me use my 15 years plus no claims as was still on old car. I phoned them to cancel renewal on six wheel policy, then they withdrew the money from my account leaving me in the overdraft.
