Good Points: Great combination of cherries and chocolate bits. Rich taste. Cherries very good and of good quality. They enhanced the flavor of the ice cream. Chocolate had a rich chocolate taste but was not overpowering or bitter.
Bad Points: Wouldn't mind seeing a few more cherries but I like cherries. A bit pricey in some stores ($5.00 per pint).
General comments: Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia - This is one of the Ben and Jerry's ice creams that is a favorite with me.
I have even thought of making a gourmet banana split with this as one of the scoops. This would provide the chocolate vanilla and cherry favor you would experience when eating a banana split. I would also use one scoop of Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey and another scoop of maybe a Ben and Jerry's chocolate marshmallow flavor.
If you like chocolate and cherries together you will adore this ice cream.
