It's a good commercial product, but nowhere near the real product of the small, independent companies of the 60's/70's. Cornish ice cream should be yellow - from the cream - and taste of cream and vanilla. Wall's may be near the top of the mass production ladder, but NONE of them are real, Cornish ice cream.
Average - about the best that can be said.

Every summer I would go to England with my family. Wall's Cream of Cornish Ice Cream was sold by our local "ice cream van". In a square slab placed in a "square" cone with a "Cadbury 99 Chocolate Flake" in it. It was the best treat I ever had. The closest thing is Double French Vanilla but Cornish is much creamier and "buttery"...divine. The best stuff you'll ever taste! (read more)
