I might take things a little too literally, but doesn't soft scoop mean it should be soft? I strained my hand trying to scoop it out. I think a hammer and chisel would be best!

There is not a drop of milk in Tesco Vanilla ice-cream! Tesco has even put an allergy warning on the side. It is reconstituted whey protein and sugar.
I left it to melt - the top inch turned into a mousse-type substance, and underneath there was 2 - 3 inches of liquid the consistency of water which was a slightly red colour! THIS IS NOT ICE CREAM - NOT EVEN SLIGHTLY OR IN AN SHAPE OR FORM! Ice-cream needs milk! No wonder the Italians scoff at British ice-cream if these imposters are sold with that label - I'm very very disappointed Tesco - HORRENDOUS! Ice cream lovers - stay away from this product and start reading the labels!

This year Tesco have thinned out their Ice Cream so that it's barely Ice Cream anymore.
Awful product which used to be fine.
