    Good Points: The camera is very easy to use. The menu system is easy to navigate through and the options are very easy to use. The ability to use either the eyepiece or LCD screen is very handy. The optical zoom is very good.


    Bad Points: Battery life is a bit limited although there are power saving options available.


    General comments: I have owned the HP PhotoSmart 945 for 3 weeks and have taken many pictures already. I have used the camera in many conditions and have found both the automatic and manual setup very easy to use. The option for low res 1 mb is handy especially for use on the web. All in all I am very pleased with this camera. It was never my intention to buy a digital camera from a computer/printer manufacturer but I am not disappointed.

    After having this camera a year and a half, and not taken very many photos with it (maybe 200), it has broken, and needs to go to the shop.

    Having used the HP PhotoSmart 945 camera for just over 6 months I have yet to find any real faults. The optional dock makes it very simple to move your pictures on to your PC.
    It is also possible to download direct to a photo printer using the cable provided.
    Even on full digital zoom the pictures are more than acceptable.
    I highly recomend this camera and at the new lower price well worth the money.
