Bad Points: I think the weight leaves a lot to be desired and to think its probably the oldest rifle still being made pity they dont make it lighter then it would be the best gun on the market (in my opinion).
General comments: This gun is really good Ive had other ones but I think this is the best yet for the price I cant ask anymore of it. Very satisfied with my new (old) weihrauch hw35k Id never let it out of my possession.

Put a scope on it. Rats, rabbits beware, at 25 meters and with a super point pellet, the pellet will go clean through the head and out the otherside. Good quick clean kill. I use this working on a farm instead of a fire arm. Its Ideal for pest control.

i shoot very good groups with it at any range up to 35 meters, even with the well known inaccurate Gamo pro magnum pellets, great rifle, i advise a scope for it, that makes it dead on accurate for birs and pest control.

I have the hw 35 k E thats the one with the silencer. The good points are its very quiet and has low recoil , plus its very powerful. ideal to kill vermin, e.g crows, rabbits, magpies, jays, pigoen, from about 45 to about 55 yards. Have not found any bad points so far to tell you .

I purchased my HW 35L from Air Rifle Headquarters in 1971 when I was a kid. I still have it, just recently reblued everything and refinished the walnut stock. This was my first introduction to high quality air guns and back then nobody my age had one. I learned to deal with the recoil and once I had that down the rifle was deadly to small game and birds. I could nail anything up to about 50 yards.
The only maintenance was to replace the spring and the breech seal. Keep it in good shape it ...

Over all it has everything a good gun needs except it isn't c02 , slow reloading time and no magezine can be inserted.

The Weihrauch HW35 is powerful, accurate and pretty quiet as well. I really like this rifle, its a lot of fun to use. Whether you're just plinking or shooting vermin this will do the job, and do it well.

The Weihrauch HW35 is fairly heavy for a young shooter and a bit weighty to hold for extended periods, however the build quality is excellent and the trigger is very good. I rate this rifle very highly

I bought one of these for 20 English pounds.

back. Then i stopped shooting for a bit and sold it for 120

then i sold it for 100 and a 3 day old B.S.A. XL Tactical

Keep her clean and renew parts like the seal and this riffle will deliver accurate fire every time. Great rifle for a beginner or a seasoned hunter, deadly when used by someone with a good eye and a steady hand, bunnies beware!

A great rifle and a good buy with the cheap price (but you have to get the silencer with it).

This air gun has been manufactured for over 50 years what i need to say more. There is no other air gun like it. It shoots great straight out of the box. Its Weihrauch quality. Make sure you buy the "S" version. It's fitted with the famous Record trigger. This means you can adjust first and second stage just the way you like it. It's a near Match type trigger. You can also fit a scope if you like. It will easy do for shooting up to 35/40 yards.

The Weihrauch HW35 is nice and weighty. It is very accurate, and great value for money. It is also very customisable! Mine is camouflaged, and it still looks good! I would recommend it to anybody who wants a high powered starter hunting air rifle!

The Weihrauch HW35 rifle is a classic. It's been the genesis of modern magnum springers. It's bbl latch is a great design.
I bought a 30 year old one in rough shape. After a new JM spring, guide and seal and proper lubrication, this thing came back to life!! I prefer it to my R1
Yes, there are better modern springers but this review is not a comparison to those, it's an evaluation on a classic springer

Considering it was first sold in Germany in the 1930s (apparently the Hitler Youth used them) and hasn't been updated very much to this day, the Weihrauch HW35 is a surprisingly good, strong, reliable rifle. Its styling and weight might put off younger buyers, but I find it easier to train on target than a lighter gun.
