    Good Points: Excellent performance


    Bad Points: Malfunctions after 2 1/2 years


    General comments: Fuji Fixed repair charge £100 is crazy, when they could retain loyal customer at more reasonable charge. No doubt they are able to totally replace the electronics for a fraction of £100

    My Fuji Finepix F700 digital camera was excellent at first. I am very disappointed that the camera failed after only 18 months use.

    I figured that spending the significant sum I did on my Fuji Finepix F700 digital camera, which has a respected name, that I would not have to research or go to sites like this. I expected years of fine service. Sort of like my aunt had with her Brownie.

    Had my Fuji Finepix F700 for 3 months and am really pleased with the results, 3 megapixels gives good enough results for A4 output, Macro mode gives good performance for a digicam in this price range.
    Start up is fast and AF is accurate, and the screen gives an accurate rendition of final results
    I would recommend the camera as a great second digital camera for all uses, My Canon eos film camera is now effectively redundant.
    I paid £150 from Jessops for mine.

    I got the F700 for my birthday. Took it to Australia for three weeks and just got back from the Maldives with it. An outstanding performing camera, very quick start up and some amazingly colourful and clear photos. The LCD is very clear and helps to sift the bad and good quality photos taken as there is no let down in colour.

    An excellent camera well worth the money. After having a Nikon which malfunctioned I went on the search of a better model. I tried out numerous cameras in various stores but was having difficulty deciding which to go for. UNTIL I was introduced to the Fugi F700. My main complaint with digi cameras is the slow start up time which is useless when taking subjects such as animals. The F700 does not have this problem and is the only camera I have come across which is so fast. I have managed to ...

    I have taken the Fuji Finepix F700 camera on trips and never had to pull out a spare battery the camera comes out fast so you can get that picture that you might otherwise have missed, you can hand the camera to anyone and have them take pictures for you without having to spend 10 minutes trying to explain to them how to use the thing.
