I've used YSL touche eclat for several years and have never had any problems with it. Actually, the only one is that it runs out too fast! It really covers up dark circles and blemishes and although is a little on the pricey side, i think it's well worth it. (read more)

I tried touché éclat after seeing lively effects on a friend who used it. I really liked the effect when I used it first off but after a couple of days I developed thickened, dry, red skin under my eyes. I stopped using it immediately and had to apply plenty moisturiser over the next couple of weeks until my skin healed. Then a few weeks later I bumped into a woman who worked in the same hospital as me and she had a terrible rash under both eyes. She told me it was as a result of using... (read more)

I was bought Touche Eclat for my birthday just before Christmas. It was easy to use and covered where I needed it. I went up to Edinburgh for my birthday and, what I though was because of the cold weather, my eyes became really watery and sore. They were red underneath and so I was using more Touche Eclat to cover it up. Three months down the line and my eyes are even worse, all flaky dry skin and soreness. They water so much that I can't even keep the redness covered up now because it just... (read more)

Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat is a great little product. My make-up essential is always concealer before anything else after years of sun damage to my eyes from wearing thick, large glasses that created permanant dark circles that cover alot of my upper face.
I have an awful feeling that some of the bad reviews that claim it doesn't work as it is marketed are mainly down to poor or mis-application of the product. The concealer itself cleverly works to match your skin hue (which is why I... (read more)

Never had allergies before until using this product. I now have very red swollen eyes with scaly skin. Always used No7 before this and will be going back to it once my eyes are better. Only wish I had read the reviews before using it, as this is the second time I used it not realising that it was this that was causing the soreness so kept reapplying. Very disappointed as an expensive brand. (read more)

I have been using Touche Eclat for several years but last autumn when I developed a dry, scaly patch under one of my eyes, and noticed some swelling, I switched to a different concealer from Mac. I was never certain it was Touche Eclat responsible, however, last week I did use it again and after one day I had the same reaction and this time round under both eyes! It has been five days now and it is only just beginning to go away. I would advise anyone using this for the first time to be... (read more)

I have never had any allergies and suddenly have developed horrific dry, red, scaly patches under my eyes, exactly where I had applied the touche eclat. Have been using the Dior version previously but swapped when it ran out. Still haven't cleared the rash, just hope it goes away soon. Glad I found others have been experiencing the same problems (read more)

Having used this product occasionally for around 18 months, I suddenly developed an acute allergic reaction to it. It took a while to identify the cause, but the location of the rash is precisely where i put the touche eclat brush. The results are very red, uncomfortable, itchy and ugly and it's making me feel rubbish! I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone, because of the risk they may have the same reaction. I've never had an alergic reaction like this before. I had assumed that YSL... (read more)

Had horrible allergic reaction to this while on my honeymoon - not best timing! I had been using it for a couple of weeks but suddenly became sensitized to it. Made under my eyes really puffy and wrinkled looking so, of course, I put on more without realising it was root of problem. Developed horrible, scaly eczema the next day which took over a month to go away once I stopped using the product. Got in touch with their customer services but didn't get a reply. (read more)

YSL Touche Eclat gave me the worst skin reaction I have ever had. My eyes swelled, my skin became red and scaly and itchy and it took more than a week to get it back to normal. It is very scary when this happens.
I would not recommend anyone try this stuff as it appears to happen to people who have used it successfully before as well as people trying for the first time. I am not usually prone to allergies so it took me a while to figure out what it was- I even (stupid me) put more on when... (read more)

I have used this concealer/highlighter under my eyes for a few years now and cant imagine using anything else as it covers my dark circles, ok they don't dissapear completely but it does make them look sooo much better. Didn't know how to take this product!
It Highlights the eye area (BONUS!!) but doesn't do the best job at actually concealing.
I tried applying this over and under my foundation to see which worked best with this product and for my face. Neither way did the Touch Eclat highlighter cover my dark bags under my eyes.
Instead I tried first applying my MAC Select Cover Up concealer (which has always worked wonders in covering the black circles, but not so great on highlighting the area).
It... (read more)

Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat concealer starts to smell really bad after a short time. It also tends to cake a little round spots, and during the course of an evenings partying it seems to come off, leaving all your blemishes clearly visible by the end of the night. It's good for highlighting though, and putting a line of it above your lip and blending it in definitely emphasises your pout. (read more)

Upon reading Nicky's review, I thought I would try Dior's skinflash concealer. I have to tell you Nicky, although I realize the product worked best for you, the Dior was not up to the Yves St Laurent Radiant Touche Eclat at all. It has a much tackier feel, as it stays on the eye area and does not have the light, smooth texture that the Yves St. Laurent has. It definitely does not have the same light reflecting properties that Yves St. Laurent has. In fact, the opposite of your experience... (read more)

I've been using it for over 2 years now. At first it seemed there's no way that something so pale and watery covers my undereye circles but,the fairest nuance works beautiful for me. It is quite easy to use and it instantly gives a fresh, subtile look.
It is pretty expensive but worth every penny since it lasts for a really long time. A pen lasts for at least 3 months of constant usage (2 times a day).
Only bad point is that when you click it and use it, sometimes the content runs out long... (read more)

I have been using this concealer for the past year without any problems. However, I recently went home on holiday, and as I forgot to take mine, I borrowed my mums. 2 days later I developed an uncomfortable rash under my eyes. I'm wondering if it's not a developed allergy - but something wrong with a batch of the Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat product!

I needed a concealer to hide a couple of very small, barely noticeable blemishes on my skin so I thought Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat would do the job very well. A friend of mine had been using it constantly since the age of 13 and always had very even looking skin. When I applied it to the blemishes and under my eyes, I didn't notice a difference. The blemishes weren't covered at all, they were just caked up. Although I barely ever get bags under my eyes (thank you genetics!), it still... (read more)

I suffer from dark circles under my eyes and have been paranoid abou this for years. When I first started using Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat I thought it was great as it wasn't heavy like a concealer but did the job at reducing the dark circles however after about 9 - 12 months of use I started to get a red, dry rash right under my lower lash line. I bought Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat as I suffer with very dark circles under my eyes. It does help but not completely. For best results it is better to mix with a little foundation and then cover.
For cover of blemishes or any red marks on your face it is very good, and does make you feel better, if you do not want to put full make-up on but don't want to advertise your spots to everyone.
All in all, it is quite a good product but not good enough if like me, you suffer from very dark... (read more)

Being a first time purchase of Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat I was quite eager to test it ...I got it out of the gold packaging and found that you have to click the top. I wasn't expecting that but it is quite nifty actually. The actual application is extremely easy it glides on and blends easily.....next time I will use moisturiser as it stuck to the dry skin by my nose, I really don't understand how it makes your lips fuller though, but it does! Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat has a nice, light formulation but nowhere near enough pigment to cover dark circles under the eyes.
