    Good Points: Light, and really good for the age of the rifle


    Bad Points: None...


    General comments: I bought it used in 1974 for $15.00 and I used it a lot....I really don't know how many boxes of pellet i shoot with? More than 5000, and I gave to my nephiew when they turn 12, and they kill a lot of squirrel with this Slavia.... and they give me back a couple of years ago, and I still use it . I can't compare it to my Ruger, but it did a really good job and it continue to do it. Center 10 shot in 1 inche at 30 feet (10 meter), still good ... and I have a lot of fun with this rifle, really light.

    My grampa and my dad used to fire it... Now my dad and me fire it. Its really well made and a lot of fun to use.

    I'm not sure what he paid for it but I would never sell it. It came with a leather sling. I only shoot Benjamin pellets in it. Nice small .177 pellet rifle that my Dad gave me for Christmas around 1965? I still have it and it shoots fairly straight. the gun also smokes after shooting.

    I received the air rifle for my 13th birthday and since then have enjoyed many hours of plinking around the garden. When I was given the rifle it was already quite old, yet in pristine condition. If I was to purchase another air rifle in the future I would surely stick to the trusty Slavia 618.

    I picked up a used .177 Slavia 618 for $25 at my local gun shop for my 8yr old son. I chrono'd it at 312fps average. The gun was in good overall condition but a cursory examination reveal that some TLC was in order.I stripped and relubed it and gave the piston and trigger/sear a polish, put it back together and it now shoots 396fps average using Beeman FTS pellets.     My grandfather bought one for me when I was about nine years old. The mission...? To shoot the hundreds of pigeons roosting in the attic of his store. Boy those were the days, I was in pellet heaven! The old gun still funtions & looks great. I pull it out every now and then and plink things. This gun I will treasure for the rest of my life.

    my dad gave me his slavia 618 it is about 32 years old he says he bought it in 1977 they quit making them in 75? it is in good shape and has a nice wood stock

    My Dad gave it to me and my brothers when I was 8 or so. He had it when he was a kid. Now my brother has grown out of it, I shoot it all the time. It's great for plinking and for beginners like I was.

    Not having used many other air rifles, I must say, I love my CZ Slavia 618. I am 29 years old, my uncle gave me it to me when I was 12, he told me he got it when he was a kid with his paper route money (he is 59 years old). I can only guess as to its age, but it is still going strong. I have not had any problem downing doves or other such sized birds with domed & tipped pellets. I have on many occasions been lucky enough to down many squirrels and rabbits (although winter fur adds a challenge ...

    A freind gave me the CZ Slavia 618 rifle, he said it didn't work. The rifle functioned, but was unable to get the pellet out of the barrel. I made a new piston seal and installed it and got the rifle shooting quite well in my opinion. Velocity is quite consistent at around 365fps with 8.5gr ammo, and with a small 4x20 scope mounted on the cute little dovetail it is surprizingly accurate out to about 15-20yds, perfect for plinking pop cans in the back yard with my 5 year old.

    The CZ Slavia 618 is a very good pellet gun for beginers. It needs more power and better barel alingment so it can shoot straight.

    This CZ Slavia Slavia 618 air rifle is the perfect gun for home use! and practice. Not enough power for hunting. I can get one hole groups at 10-15 yrds. Good choice.

    In all CZ Slavia 618 Rifle is a great gun for kids or adults 5ft and under for fitting size, for power it lacks but at over 100 feet it will still puncture a plastic bottel ok. Hitting power seems to be good. Its very accurate and very easy to cock, its a light duty rifle and thats ok without varity life would suck. Its better suited for wad cutter pellets as for pointed pellets it will use them but you dont get a proper seal so ther is power loss thats noticable..forget jacking up the power iam ...
