Had nothing but trouble from the start. If you want to speak to someone regarding sales then you will get through straight away, customer services however is about 10minutes. Here is a timeline of what happened - 1.24th September - Received a damaged laptop after spending over £449 of hard earned money. “Avoide Laptops Direct at all costs”

I bought a £500 PC from Laptops Direct and received a cheaper, inferior, lower spec model. A week later they admit they had made a "mistake" on their website and the model I paid for does not exist! Despite their admittance of a mess up of epic proportions, a week later I still have not received a refund nor have they arranged for the return of the computer I didn't order. Ordered a Swan CCTV system a week ago. Delivery should have been within 7 days. I called up 7 days later and they have advised me the item had been discontinued! Some items on display were marked as refurbished and some were not - so I naturally assumed that the ones not saying refurbished were new items. I received my 14" HP laptop and the first thing I noticed when unpacking it and starting it up for the first time, many of the icons on the Windows 10 menu were greyed out. This of course means that you are unable to use these icons to start and service supported by Windows 10. “Not a good experience”

This company offered the best price I could find for what I wanted. A whole week later my order was still "being processed". Phone calls to them cost 13p a minute. Emails receive an autoresponse which says they will be responded to within 4 hours during their workday. Not so. Only one of mine was answered within 4 hours, the remainder were the following day. “Refurbished or Not?”

I ordered an A2 refurbished HP Envy with SSD. There are no serviceable parts in these devices so they need to: 1. Clean; 2. Function check and repair if necessary, 3. Reset the operating system. Laptops direct failed on 2 of 3. The laptop was grubby, didn't charge correctly had a faulty battery and on return and examination, was told it had a motherboard fault and wouldn't be returned.
