Fast delivery even though I ordered just before New Year so public holidays and weekend didn't make any difference. Top quality laptop. Everything as described on the website. Phoned to ask some questions and everything was answered confidently. Thank you.

I payed for two netbooks that never arrived.

After I called them they said what is written below:

We have looked into this complaint and have referred this to our Manager Director and our Customer Services Manager who have decline your claim for a replacement based under our terms and conditions it states under section 5 & 6. " It is your responsibility once the parcel (s) leave the UK".
The parcel was insured with the company they use.
But the sender have to do the claim, but they will not. ...

The laptop arrived early despite all the warnings of delays from purchasing options. The arrival condition was good, and the laptop was ready to be used the minute it was powered up. The software update (part of the option) was completed. However, the user account was set up without my details in place which did cause some initial problems with the laptop. Perhaps, it would have been better if user account details were requested explicitly before the laptop was set up.

SO far so good. I have the laptop about 2 weeks now but ordered it before Christmas. It was approximately 3 weeks late, however there was the christmas rush and new year. The computer is running fine so far. it was a far better deal than buying it in the shops, saved about '300 on the model that i wanted. When i was purchasing it, there was a problem with the paypal and credit cards. the confirmation page came up to say that i hadb't purchased the laptop - so i started again. I ended up paying f ...

Paid premium rate on Friday for delivery on Saturday between 8am and 1pm. Needed the laptop that day for buiness. Didn't turn up by 1pm. Rang up Customer Services on expensive 10 per minute line. Told me definitely arrive by 3pm. Didn't. Called back to find customer services clock off at 2pm on Saturday, Nothing I can do. Will never use them again!

Appalling customer service, very rude....and a little dense
Forgot to dispatch item then called to sell more products. After lengthy phone discussion was willing to 'do a favour' by 'upgrading' delivery service to one which would deliver it 48 hours later then the special delivery that was paid for.
Their returns policy is disgraceful.
I have more confidence in street hawkers

What would have improved the experience would have been info that delivery would be via Royal Mail which would have saved someone staying in all day after mail delivery had already taken place. This info could have been provided by email after item dispatched.
The info on website was clear enough and useful enough.

I ordered this laptop at 4:00pm and had it by 9:00am the following morning and this was the week before Christmas. The online system meant I didn't need to talk to anyone and the proce was competitive. I would consider using Laptopsdirect for all my company's laptops.

Ordered item, processed payment, all OK. Next day got a message saying that the order was being held up by my bank, but there's nothing to worry about - they'll sort it directly with the bank. Next day, email saying order canceled - no explanation why. They don't seem interested in calling me back to explain, either...

Ordered from laptopsdirect.com, but when choosing delivery method I was only allowed to select next day delivery (for £15). I could have got the same laptop cheaper elsewhere but decided to continue with this company.

The next day (around 5pm) I got a call saying my laptop wasn't in stock so I needed to call them back (at a premium rate number) and order a different one. Tried to call back but no one picked up, so I left a message. This wasn't returned, so I had to call them back the next ...

When we look at price you get what you pay for. Peanuts and monkeys. First they only dispatched my goods a week after I payed for them, then they mannaged to mess up the delivery address which was clearly writen out for them in an email. One wuld think that it is a no brainer to copy down an address but the monkeys that work at laptops direct find the most simple of tasks over complicated. The website was easy to use, Customer Services friendly and helpful, ordering simple and delivery was on time with the laptop arriving safely and securely packaged. Laptops Direct did not have the absolute cheapest price for this product but the cheaper suppliers had no customer reviews whereas Laptops Direct had excellent reviews. I would have to say that I agree with those previous reviewers!

Very impressed by help given by by Laptops Direct. Laptop had OS error on first loading up - help given by LD was impossible to fault. Tremendously impressed by customer service - rare to find such considerate and helpful staff in this day and age. Will recommend to any one in complete confidence.
