The combination of the switch problem and delay makes the Canon Ixus IIs fairly useless except for static subjects.

I've never had a problem with accidently hitting the switch, but maybe I keep my fingers and thumb away from it when holding the camera. As for the delay, there is an option of switching on 'quick shot' which does speed up the process of taking a photo.

<br>There are 3 preset sound themes which can be customised to your own sounds and there is also a silent mode.
<br>
<br>All in all, it's a great wee camera.
