    Good Points: Location


    Bad Points: Over-priced and substandard


    General comments: The Haweswater Hotel in Penrith is a substandard and overpriced hotel set in a wonderful location. Room 15 is a single room with a double bed stuffed in the corner, and the bed rattles against the wall if try to move (let alone anything else) on it. The bedroom was not serviced on the first morning. You can hear conversations in the adjoining room. Bedroom doors were excessively noisy. And there was always very little cold water, and sometimes none. You can get a B&B that is 100% better and at a lower cost!
