    Good Points: I was given a superb town centre hotel called The Residence on Hornby Road.


    Bad Points: www.blackpoolweekends.com does not seem to exist anymore, I used www.blackpoolweekends.co.uk. They are a different company and have nothing to do with each other. It is just unfortunate that the dot com company upset a few people.


    General comments: Blackpool Weekends is a great company to deal with. I was given a superb town centre hotel called The Residence on Hornby Road. Everything ran so smoothly, and I have no complaints.

    I found the Strachan Hotel on blackpoolweekends.com, the prices were cheap so we booked the hotel for 3 people. When two cancelled on the day we arrived, there was no problem cancelling the rooms and no extra cost. The atmosphere in the bar was great, no hasseles just like being at home! Cheers Lorraine and David we'll be back in the summer!!!

    We originally found the Newlands Hotel on Tripadvisor and found lots of great comments about them. We then found their web site (www.newlands-hotel.co.uk) and had a look at their prices, rooms, etc. and decided to book. Within minutes of telephoning I was talking with Heather (one of the owners) like I had known her years! I booked for my husband and I for the week.
    To be honest, after seeing the tripadvisor reports and their own site we both prepared ourselves to be slightly let down as these ...
