    Good Points: Very Loving
    Playful
    Likes being with people and very good with children


    Bad Points: Needs a lot of space
    Beard can get VERY wet and dirty
    Needs alot of exercise
    Fur can knot easily - needs regular grooming


    General comments: Our Italian Spinone is now 2 yrs old, she is the most gentle, friendly dog I have ever known, especially around children.
    They need lots of exercise and would play 24 hours a day if you can keep up the entertainment!
    Not a dog to be left one their own, I would recommend a second dog as a companion if they are to be left for any length of time.
    The only negative is that their fur is a bit of a mud magnet and their beards usually contain whatever they have been eating/drinking - I keep a few face towels handy!
    If you have the time and the space for this fun loving, faithful hound I would definitely recommend them.
