This is a good family car (my Dad has it). While it is not excellent in performance, it is superbly reliable - hardly ever letting you down. A very practical car, it is great for families of about 5/6. Good value for money, but I was dissapointed at the fact that there was no CD player!

I bought a new 02 Vauxhall Zafira comfort, after about 2 and half years the gearbox went (hairline crack which caused gearbox oil to leak, probably there from new, but not covered as guarantee was run out, had to replace with 2nd hand unit), the internal lights kept going on and staying on, fixed by main dealer, fuel consumption of this car is crazy!
the ABS light came on, took to main dealer, he replaced wheel sensor, then told me there might be another problem that caused it, but it would prob ...

Good family bus but you get what you pay for, and it sloughs across the road, performance isn't hot but it is adequate. I've done 120,000 miles in mine, and it's still acceptable. Fuel and especially OIL consumption need to be watched.

The Vauxhall Zafira is our first MPV, and we love it, its great for taking the kids and their friends out, I can get my mothers wheelchair in the boot without folding it up, which is one of the reasons we went for the Zafira. My mother has got serious mobility problems and the seat height means that she can get in and out of the car much easier now... We had a Vectra before which was too low down for her.
My mother in law had a W reg when they first came out, our 2002 model has got air con some ...

This is our first MPV. Been used to small hatchbacks previously. Feels secure. Drives well. Very versatile seating, well designed. Wasn't sure that a 1.6 engine would have enough power, but it has more than proven itself on many long journeys. Like most mpvs, it is a little cramped when used as a seven seater, but at least you don't need to physically remove the extra 2 seats from the car when you don't need them. I love this car. My only criticism is that I had my spare wheel stolen, as a resul ...

This is our first "MPV" after a succession of large family saloons. It's a 2002 model and we've owned it for just over a year. Haven't found anything that I can complain about yet. We paid extra to have CD radio instead of cassette radio and dog guard fitted. Next one will have a bigger engine size, but at the moment a 1.6 is fine. We are regular campers with 2 children and the back does get filled up quickly but it saves us from towing a trailer. When I drive our Corsa it feels as if I'm sittin ...
