Good Points: A good looking up to date fun site with lots to do and amuse, what more could you want.
Bad Points: The sites responsible for many hours of wasted time in work places across the world.
General comments: In its basic form AlterVistas is a rip off search engine devoted to humorous bizarre, strange and wacky sites. The site was created by two students and is completely their own work, it includes strange projects such as the 'AlterCensus' their means to allow you to find out what people think about anything you want! I think the sites is best summed up in their own words..
We find ourselves standing at the dawn of a new era, a time for reflection, a time to look back at what we have achieved as a species, a time to measure and record this age for all eternity. We at AlterVistas believe we have found a benchmark for humanity; a way to test, log and store for all time some of the more poignant areas of 21st Century life. Think of this website as a "Doomsday book for the Internet". As AlterVistas' grows and develops we hope you will join us on our quest; a quest for truth, a quest for honor, a quest for what lies at the heart of every one of us, a quest for what makes us the best goddam species on the planet... ...a quest for oddness.
