I'm genuinely looking for car on AutoTrader as I type. I know what I want; model, colour, spec, etc. As an ex-boy racer, in the past I couldn't wait for the weekly magazine to hit the shelves on Thursday's to find my next hot-hatch. But now 10 years on the magazine is tiny in comparison, so the website is really the only option - or mobile app which I'm not a fan of. However the website is beyond schizophrenic, the usability is poor and it stinks of desperation. Paid for 'Featured' Ads all... (read more)

I had a car to sell a Peugeot 407 2004, I thought about where to put it for sale. I decided to put it on Autotrader the cost was £36.00 for 14 days which I thought was a bit steep but if it sells the car fair enough. I also so listed it on on Ebay at a cost of £10.00 the car was sold privately by me. To be fair I received a lot of enquiries through Ebay for my £10 but from Autotrader not one single enquiry I might has well have flushed the £36.00 down the Toilet for what use Autotrader... Many ads are fake run by fake traders with fake websites. If your lucky you'll get scammed, if not you could be seriously hurt. Research the seller, check out the address using satellite maps and street view. Limited companies can be checked at companies house.
