    Good Points: Very portable.
    Convenient.


    Bad Points: Short life span even with extreme care shuts off after charge.
    Freezes.


    General comments: I have had this Mustek DV4000 since last December, worked excellent for at least 4 months then it started freezing up and even deleted a lot of my pics without my knowledge.

    It is a good idea to get a larger memory card with it. I got a 512MB card, which I can record about 3hrs on. The camera is easy to use once you read the whole of the instrunction booklet, which I didnt do at first. I recommend getting a spare battery, which you can buy for around £10. The software that the camera came with is not as good as I expected, as sometimes it stalls, and sometimes it just won't open. Overall though I am reasonably impressed with the camera.

    I have owned my Mustek DV4000 for almost 6 months and have been disappointed with its performance. I can't count on it to consistently take good pictures. Many pics were out of focus yet some were good. The operations manual is very general with print so small you can't determine which button they are describing. In general the camera is a jack of all trades and master of none. I do not recommend it and feel I wasted my money.
