    Good Points: None


    Bad Points: JVC unreliable would not recommend buying any of their camcorders


    General comments: The JVC GR camera when it worked was easy to use, but it would appear that JVC have a problem with the lense sensor on this and other models in this range, which they do not seem bothered to address is the same problem in all their units

    Overall the JVC GR-D23EK camcorder works well outdoors with sharp, colourful video, but poor low light filming makes it less usable indoors and reliability issues have somewhat spoiled my ownership. JVC themselves were also not easy to deal with when things went wrong, even under warranty.

    The JVC GR-D23EK is an excellent camcorder for basic shooting - really easy to use and I very much enjoy using it!
