I have always had a soft spot for Pirelli's and especially now the Pirelli Diablo.
There're a company that is pushing very hard in the motorcycle industry and that makes you that little more confident when you use them.
At the end of the day they are made in Germany and I think that says a lot.
I say especially the Diablo's because you can find some cracking prices at www.tyretectrading.com

I have been riding for about 30 years on all sorts of bike, from cruisers to hyper sports, riding across the Alps from Italy to Switzerland on a regular basis. After riding shod on Continentals (ahhh!), Dunlop, Bridgestone ' s and Pirellis I decided to stick to Pirelli, as the have provided me with the most confidence. My Current bike is an Aprilia RSV 1000, Though My Pirelli rear gets the third degree in rear wheel sliding and I ask a lot out of my grip, it has been controlled as I like it. My ...

I have ridden a 748 and now a zx-6r on ordinary Pirelli Diablo tyres on the zx-6r I got 7909 miles out of the rear tyre before the white line came through, i am still on the original front tyre which has now done 10014 miles, when you master cold weather, low grip ,heavy rain and heavy traffic at the same time on these babies theres nothing you can't do.
7909 miles rear tyre till white strip still good in heavy rain but had to be replaced and 10014 miles on front tyre still going strong diablos ...

I have only been riding for 7 months and the tyres I had before these, in my opinion, where great. Until I bought a set of pirelli diablos. They are fantastic for what i need.

I have it on my 2005 ZX10R, and would definitely try again, but I first want to try the Michelin Pilot Powers out.
I commute with my bike and hardly ever push for speed, the tyre is a boost for confidence on a sport bike, so I would highly recommend it.

I really dig the Pirelli Diablo tyres apart from the quick wear. Granted I have only tried these and Michelin Hi Sports (which lasted well over 4000 miles) so my knowledge is limited :)

The Pirelli Diablo are very good tyres for fast riders that like lots of grip and feedback. I own a Fazer 1000 with an Ivan's jet kit, so it has a bit of extra power. These tyres inspire confidence in corners even in the wet - I did a controlled powerslide one wet day - but it didn't scare me as I could feel what the bike and tyres were doing. Only problem I had was there seemed to be a crossover point (different compounds?) were the tyre did not grip sometimes - sometimes going into a corner as ...

Really, there's nothing wrong with these tyres, but tyre technology jumps in leaps and bounds every year, and these aren't the latest and greatest. I had regular Diablos (there are a few different Diablos). They came stock on my Ducati Monster 620 (see review). I ride hard and try to be agressive in the corners, and in my opinion these tyres are nervous in the twisties. They lasted me well. I got about 6000 miles on them, and when I replaced them, they were so bald you could see the radial ...

I fitted the Pirelli Diablo on my speed triple and was amazed at how well they handled. The rear tire is really far more pointed than for instance bridgestones BT-12 or Pilot Power, which translates into razor sharp handling, but sacrifices the feel somewhat at high speed on the straight sections. I can't say much about tyre-life since I partially used the first pair I fitted on a long journey to the south of France with a pillion and luggage. With this configuration I couldn't really say they l ...

I use the Corsas on my R1 track bike and they are perfect for track days. Also OK if it's damp but don't push them in the wet. Lovely profile giving uniform contact patch.

I came from a Michelin Pilot Sport, which is known as a good motorcycle tyre by many. But the problem for me was that I didn't trust the tire. Something just didn't feel right! I did about 3000km with the Sports, and never felt sure about myself. But that's the past, because with the new Pirelli Diablo Corsa I have for the moment, there are no limits anymore. It just felt like I bought a new bike. The feel, the handling, it's all different, more secure, more confidence inspiring. I'm super happy ...

All in all the Pirelli Diablo is a superb motorcycle tyre in the right place and on the right bike, treat them as you would a race tyre (because thats what they almost are/were..old hat now) Would definately buy again...at the right price...But I would also point out that the Ducati might well have had some/lots of input as to the tyre feedback and handling issues... Just bought a pair of supercorsa`s... will review them in a while..TTFN

Fitted the Pirelli Diablo Motorcycle tyres on my VTR1000 to replace Michelin Pilot Sports. I made sure to scrub them in, about 50-75 miles. After that they were great. They warm up quicker then the Pilot's and grip better even when cold.
I haven't felt these tyres slip in the wet. Not even on slippy Irish roads.

I have just had fitted a front and rear Pirelli Diablo Motorcycle Tyre, i have to disagree with the other review as I have done 100 miles on the tyre in the same day it was fitted and although its damp and very cold the tyre has excellent grip and turns in 10 times better than the dunlop 208r they've replaced and gives great feedback. I normally run bridgestone but these are the best tyre I have ever used for alround ability.

I put a set of Pirelli Diablos on my 2002 SV650S in the stock sizes: 120x60x17 front and 160x60x17 rear. The tires are SUPER slick when new. I had to put about 200 miles on the bike before I could lean it at all. I crashed the bike when the tires were new and did $1,000 plus damage. Now after 300 plus miles, the back grips well, but the front wants to slide out. Not very confidence inspiring. I have tried all kinds of tire pressures and fork adjustments to correct the front problem but have give ...
