    The Dorada Palace Hotel was ok generally, was clean & tidy as other reviews I read prior to my visit. We (myself, wife & two kids aged 3 & 7) were self catering so I can't comment on the restaurant food, but can on the poolside bar food which was poor & there was little choice. The rooms were very small the smallest apartments I have stayed at actually. The location of the hotel is ok, 5 mins from pubs/restaurants a little further to the beach which was packed by the way, never seen a beach so full. We tried several restaurants in the area & all were average & pricey, I know the pound is weaker than what it was against the Euro, but I didn't expect to spend as much as I did 1000 euros in a week

    Amazing food a good entertainment and lovely people :). No bad points. I would advise you to go to Dorada Palace Hotel if you want a good holiday!!

    A fantastic hotel for famillies with children, entertained young and old from morning till night! Food was amazing, a wide variety of choice for breakfast and dinner, with a chef cooking lots of meals in front of you!
    Nighttime shows are great and all staff give 110% effort! Recommend the hotel... it's amazing!

    We have just come home from Salou and this was the fourth year we stayed at Dorada Palace Hotel, we love it and the kids love it too. All the staff are so friendly, the rooms are clean, the entertainment for the kids is great and it is so central to the main strip in Salou. Hopefully we will be back again next year.

    A really nice place to stay especially for families. Great entertainment for kids and the apartments are very clean and well presented they are well equipped and have air con which was great, would recommend it to anyone.

    Good points Dorada Palace Hotel has lots of things to do. Bad points its on a big hill so its bad for old people. I think from all my holidays this would be the best and I will definitely go back again

    The hotel is fantastic for families. We couldn't fault it at all. We have just booked to take the children back this year, as it is great and has everything you need. Good value for money.

    We had a great time here. We went in Oct 05 and we were so happy with the Hotel we booked to go in Oct 06 as soon as we got back from the first holiday.

    Overall, the Dorada Palace Hotel in Salou was a great. It is the best hotel ever stayed in, and everyone was friendly and helpful.

    The hotel was immaculate. They have two lovely pools, and the rooms were cleaned daily.

    I would definitely go to the hotel again. PARADISE!!

    from am until pm we had non stop fun and entertainment at Dorada Palace Hotel. Being on half board you can eat as much as you want and there is plenty to choose from. I went with a 30inch waist and came home with a 36inch. As stated too much to do and eat. If you are adults go to the 6th floor JACCUZZI which is great and it is QUIET and plenty of sunbeds.

    The Dorada Palace is very well kept and looks like a new hotel. The buffet breakfast and dinner was lovely with plenty of choices of things to eat. Our apartment was by the lift on the 2nd floor and from the bedroom we could hear people going up and down the stairs until the early hours.     Salou, Dorada Palace Hotel - My wife, 2 children & I booked a week at the Dorada Palace through Airours. As a treat, we upgraded to a private taxi transfer from the airport (£30 extra). Big mistake. Instead we had to share a minibus with 6 other people who also paid £30 each. The hotel management made us wait 3 hours to check in even though rooms were free. When we could check in, we had to join a queue of 100 people. The rooms are tiny. We had two beds & a cot and there was not room ...

    Salou, Dorada Palace Hotel - Although I am still waiting to go again, I have been before and it was absolutly superb, although at points it did seem overcrowded it. The local people are freindly as well and commuting to Barcelona was easy so I don't have a problem, hence the reason I am going back myself!

    Just got back from the Club Dorada Palace in Salou. The hotel is of a very high standard. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel is kept wonderfully clean and is also very environmentally friendly, they ask you when you would like your towels and bed linen changed, which I thought was wonderful.     Dorada Palace Hotel for a younger person or any child/adult/human being! there was plenty to do! everyone was catered for, there were plenty of children, it was a very safe environment, friendly staff, big pool, cool rooms (god bless the air conditioning!) and it was really really sunny!!! i couldnt have asked for a better holiday!!

    The Dorada Palace hotel was very clean and well managed. It was reasonably quiet at nightime which enabled us to sleep well, also facilities were good i.e d.i.y laundry etc, case storage on arrival and departure for 1 Euro per case( whilst your room was being prepared).
    The location of this hotel was within walking distance of the Porta Ventura theme park (eg 10 min walk with children).
    All in all a fantastic hotel which I would recommend to anyone.

    Over all the hotel Dorada Palace was great, it was very clean, bright and spacious. The rooms were clean bright and for as long as you went puting a lare party in one room they are spacious. (But you have to ask for clean bedding they dont give it automatically) The staff are all helpful and speak good English if you can't speak Spanish. The entertainment run by the hotel was great.     The holiday was very good i would go back to the Palace hotel again and i tell others how good it is in Dorada when they are deciding to go on holiday.
