Good Points: the look is very good nice paint and much chrome

Bad Points: runs out of fuel with fuel in tank, clunky gearbox, cutting out for no reason, warning light coming on for no reason.chrome coming off wheel

General comments: The Polaris Victory is a nice looking bike, but not as good as my older harley,

Bought the Polaris Victory after owning a Yamaha enduro and a Suzuki SV650 best bike I have ever riden. The best thing is the bike is made completely in USA (Minnesota to be exact) except the front fork (Italy) and now that everything thing we buy now (even Harley) is made or designed in Japan.

I had previously owned a 2000 V92sc and my wife had a 1999 V92c. I upgraded to a 2007 Vegas Premium and she now has a 2008 Vegas Premium Low. The ride is greatly improved and there is considerably more power. We have gone on several poker runs and these bikes will run with any of the others. With the 6 speed transmission the top end is much faster than you will want to go.

Took a couple of Polaris Victory's out for a test drive. I don't mind the looks compared to some other bikes on the road. Though I do prefer the 70-80's classic look (if it's been long enough to call it that).
I found that the power was smooth during acceleration, though the transmission made a bad clunking sound when changing gears with the clutch fully engaged, I didn't even try to quick shift it. The gearing also felt sloppy, mainly in the lower gears.
As for the gauges I didn't like that the ...

Best V-twin on the market. Brand X should take notes. After 50,000 miles it's still an excellant motorcycle and very dependable.

I am a very proud Polaris Victory owner, I have invested a lot of money on my bike as well as my clothing (Victory patch work). I feel good with my bike and love the attention it deserves to get. I hope dealerships can be more helpful and less argumentative with every concern a new owner has. Remember these bikes cost as much as a fully loaded car in some cases.

My Victory is a 2002 TC with 20,000 miles. I would not hesitate to take it across country with the experience I have had with this scooter. Victory is a geat bike. As it grows in market share so will service and availablity. I have owned two of them now. My first one was a 2001 Crusier. Great dealer in Arlington, TX. Victory of Arlington.
PS I didn't buy either bike from them. they weren't around when I purchased the two bikes.

I bought my 2003 Polaris Victory classic brand new and stil in the crate last year. I've got 2100 miles on it and have had nothing but one problem after another. I had the dealer install Stage one pipes and it took them over a month to get the bike running at all. They couldn't figure out how to get it properly mapped out. I've gone through 2 fuel pumps already. The gas tank makes a horrible whinning noise when I get down to 2 gallons. I've "run out of fuel" with 2 gallons still in the tank. The ...

Transmission lost 2nd and 3rd gear, and polaris told me that i had to buy a 1700 dollar up-grade kit. I would think that they would stand behind part's but I was wrong! Will never buy another victory!

I have a new 07 Vegas that was purchased one week ago. Today, after a short 5 mile ride when I turned off the kill switch, the motor kept running. I attempted to turn off the key and the same. I realized it was the starter motor that was engaged continuously. Finally after about two minutes, the starter fired. The bike has only 100 miles on it and needless to say I am very worried now about the quality and reliability.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Disapointed with the Polaris Victory. Continued problems with fuel system low fuel warning. The shop performed recall on fuel pump clip and they just can't get it right. Concerns on axle replacement. Clutch cable broke at 3400 miles, found design flaw with cable, yet it was not covered under warranty. Brakes wear out fast, even with reasonable breaking habits. I try to like it, yet with all the problems I am concerned on how long it will last before the next problem occurs

I have owned my Polaris Victory now for only three months and have 2000+ miles on it. Never once have I had a single issue with it other than I don't have enough to to spend riding it. I bought a Harley in October 2006 and one test ride on my Victory Hammer and I knew I had made a terrible mistake. So, before jumping on a new Hammer I tested all the Harley's and Triumphs that interested me and test rode several Victories before deciding on the Hammer. I feel Victory is on the right path with new ...

The dealership could have done more to inform me of what to expect with service charges and what can or cannot be done on a Saturday service.

I already have 5000 miles on my Polaris Victory and all I can say is "Wow, what a bike and what a dealer"! The dealer went through incredible lengths to help my wife "surprise" me with this bike for my birthday. Ever since, they have done fantastic on the issue of service, including cost and handling the couple of trivial adjustments that needed correction. The bike is the best I've ever owned. People stop me everywhere I go to comment on how hot this thing is. I can't even sit at a stop light w ...

Pretty bike with only these few bad points; brakes, oil lines, fuel economy, gauges, fuel injection, fuel tank fit, throttle position sensor, internal oil cavity alignment, transmission "clank", mysterious rear wheel lock-ups, constant recalls, factory service and crazy high price tag.Good lookin' bike, just don't ever ride it unless you like being stranded or being a road pizza.
