I think the Sony Vaio TR1MP is a good laptop computer for the office worker who will be using it as a word processor on the move, or for using the internet; but it is not a good idea for the rich school child who thinks they will look "cool" with a small laptop, because it just isn't a high enough performer for the demands of a child/teenager, and definitely a little too fragile. Not true, i use this laptop at school, it happily produces powerpoint presentations and plays them. I use professional video editing software with it (avid dv) and it works perfectly. Also i have no problems playing age of empires on it smoothly.
