General comments: I couldn't make up my mind whether Tiger Tiger was a nightclub pretending to be a restaurant or a Restaurant pretending to be a nightclub but either way it failed dismally on both fronts. Hats off to the service from the floor staff whose efficient and friendly service almost made up for the mediocrity that they were dishing out, but not quite.
I can only assume that the management decided that location was more important than substance when putting together a menu so lacking in imagination that George Bush would have found it boring. While Haymarket is undoubtedly a prime location for a good Restaurant and nightclub this, unfortunately, is neither. In an area where there are so many fantastic Restaurants offering a wide variety of excellent food at a wide range of prices, and almost always delivering value for money, this place offers only the banal and does so badly. Tiger Tiger fails to deliver either quality or good value. The set dinner at a mere £35 may seem like good value but the blandness that came with the food makes it one step below the microwaved offerings that are served up in a Wetherspoons or Harvester (at least in either of those you get what you're paying for).

As to the nightclub 10 of us went upstairs to the bar where two pimpled bar managers discussed their philosophy of life and pointed us towards the one overworked barmaid for our drinks and gave us a haughty look of disdain for even suggesting that they could possibly lay their hands on either a glass or bottle.

In summary Tiger Tiger is in a part of London where it will undoubtedly attract a new crowd every night. It must do because I can't imagine anyone ever visiting twice. However if I were asked to recommend either a nightclub or a Restaurant in central London Tiger Tiger would not be on either list.
