Good Points: As we visited on a thursday they were doing a 2 for £9.99 deal or 3 for £12.99 so we got either 2 courses for £9.99 or all 3 courses for £12.99 you could also upgrade for a futher £3.49 for other items on the menuwe saved a lot of money. We also had a very good waitress who pandered to all of our needs. The portions were large and food was fresh. The party made a lot of mess as there was over 25 of us and we didnt have to clean up.Good for kids parties or to start a night out with the girls. Also if you join the birthday club online you get either free champagne ,free desserts or free cocktails on your next visit.A voucher is sent to your email address
Bad Points: Some of the meals were not up to scratch and there was an incident with a member of staff but after speaking to the manager who apologised we were given vouchers to come back and dine for free
General comments: We decided to have my sons 5th birthday at TGI Fridays in fulham. We booked a table a month ahead and they confirmed our booking within 24hours.We arrived on a quiet thursday afternoon and were seated very quickly. The starters took a while to come and although we arrived at 3pm we didnt eat our mains until about 5:30pm .The starters were pretty good i enjoyed the bruchetta and some others enjoyed the shrimp. The mains were also quite tasty and the portions were big most people couldnt finish theirs. The dessert fudge fixation was ok but it was a little bit sickly and out of 16 adults there wasnt one clean plate. The childrens menus were good and with such a big selection you will find sometrhing even for the fussiest of eaters. But the thing that TGI Fridays does best is the cocktails i recommend the ultimate long island ice tea or barnamint baileys .

Last night a group of us had arranged to dine at Croydon's TGI for a surprise birthday. The table was booked on Monday 10/11/08, the deposit debited from my account on Wednesday. 29 of us arrived to be told that no booking had been made even though the money had been withdrawn from my account. The staff member we dealt with was adamant that I had not made a booking and expected me to produce a bank statement on a Sunday evening proving that I had paid the deposit. the manner in which we feel we ...- Read eburton's review (144 words)

I like TGI Fridays as a whole but this experience wasn't the best. My food wasn't very good and the service on a whole was poor. It was a monday evening and was very quiet so I felt there was no excuse for slow service.- Read kbeeson's review (96 words)

Having been to the Bluewater TGI's before and having had a terrible experience a couple of years ago, it might have been sensible to avoid. However, having erased from my mind this experience I convinced myself it wasn't so bad after all and to give it another go, how wrong I was. Nearly all of the problems I had encountered before happened again. Being stuck on a table placed in the gangway to the kitchens, although visiting at around half twoish both times (after peak time), still tables looke ...- Read Guest's review (136 words)

I visited the restaurant at 3oclock in the afternoon it was shocking as some of the staff were busy talking to each other, the cutlery was dirty, we waited 15mins for a starter and 20 mins for the main course. I had the steak which I wanted medium rare and came out well done and tough the fries looked like cut up potato skins all of it was cold the salad was dire. My sister had the chicken burger that looked like it was thrown on the plate with the same disinterested fries as I had. Definitely n ...- Read 4real217's review (164 words)

The TGI's I visited was in Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port. Bear in mind it was early in the evening - 5.30 on a Saturday and we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table - I think this is deliberate to make you visit the bar as there were plenty of tables, they were just all filthy. The bar staff took 15 minutes to serve us and then clearing glasses whilst doing so. The menu looked poor and the children's worse than that - we were not offered any colouring in packs for the children. At this point ...- Read lorna1's review (273 words and 1 comment)

I went for dinner on Saturday at the TGI Fridays in Leicester Square with a friend for the first time and I was really shocked. The food was appalling, and much overpriced. The fries were burnt and the pasta was very soggy. The wicked wing tasted as if they had come from straight out the freezer, quickly heated in the microwave, and then thrown onto our plates. We also bought cocktails and the fruit deco was rock solid! The place was also very over packed with no-where to stand at the bar let al ...- Read Guest's review (130 words)

I had a breakfast at TGI Friday one morning and it was simply revolting. The "fresh" fruit was obviously the same bowl used every morning and kept in the fridge overnight (everything was brown and soggy); the English breakfast was like rubber; and the buffett table was swarming with flies. The "fresh" coffee was lukewarm, and the whole restaurant looked miserable. I can only imagine that these practices are standard across their whole chain.- Read Guest's review (76 words)

5 of us went to the Cheltenham branch of TGI Fridays in May. The food was mediocre, and the price high. The waitress was also very unfriendly. I complained to head office and they said they would send vouchers out. I had to contact them six times, and I waited for 7 weeks for 25 quids worth of vouchers!
When I went back the service was OK, but the food was mediocre, and there was no atmosphere.
They won't see us again!- Read kevin dunlop's review (79 words)

After long anticipating dining out at TGI Fridays, I finally came across a franchise in Melbourne. What were my first impressions when I first set foot in the restaurant? Very disappointing. Service was rather poor. Considering it was a Friday, you'd think that more waiters would be on hand to greet customers at the door, but there were none. We had to walk to second level to seek out the bartender, who then redirected us to our tables.- Read rushhour1's review (97 words)

I was away on business, and I had eaten in several TGI's with my family over the years, in both the UK and the States.
When I arrived at the Reading branch, I was greeted by a waiter who seemed to think he was on the West End stage, and he was extremely full of himself, and very annoying.
I placed my order, and after waiting for twenty minutes, I was advised they were out of their signature sauce.
I reselected, only to be told they could do it after all. When it eventually turned up, they ...- Read cptman's review (179 words)

I tend to avoid chains like the plaque but have to admit eating or drinking in TGIs in Prague, Swansea, Cardiff and London and generally have always had decent service, enjoyed clean, fun and lively environments which are both adult and family friendly.
The food is predictable but if you enjoy ribs, steaks, pizzas, plates of sandwiches with chips etc etc then it's fine. I choose it for that type of meal so I enjoy it, but I don't think I'd take everyone I know to such a place. It beats Har ...- Read Huw Evans's review (175 words and 1 comment)

TGI Fridays has an exciting, and laid back atmosphere. TGIF is very friendly in character, and is a place to go and unwind after a hard day at work. The food is very enjoyable, and the portions are large. The Jack Daniels sauce is the main featured sauce of the restaurant, and it is tasty on everything; chicken, ribs, burgers, and steak. They also have a health conscious menu, for those trying to eat healthily.
Overall, TGI Fridays is an excellent American restaurant which I will return to ti ...- Read Krischc1's review (92 words)

TGI Fridays resturaunt used to be a really nice placed to come relax and have a few drinks and some decent food. It is now very poor everything from the servers to the food, the atmosphere has changed dramatically, point blank the place should be shut down until they can find somebody to change it around and get it back to the way it used to be. Until then stay away.- Read bazzio11's review (129 words)

All the orgasmic sound you can muster is just how TGI's food should be described! I have only been there once with about fifteen people and have made a point to make time to find my nearest one so I can go again! If your having a party TGI's is the best place, they lavish you with mass amounts of food and drink and as much attention as you can handle. When I went they were having some sort of anniversary celebration of their own so they gave us these cards to fill out which meant we received a d ...- Read Kanarki's review (243 words and 2 comments)
