TGI Fridays - Gulf Freeway/Houston - Last time I waited 40 minutes for the salad, 25 for the wine. Gave it another try; mistake. Ordered steak rare, but it arrived almost alive! Great too to hear the waitress & cook arguing about it in the kitchen when I sent it back. Place was less than 25% full, yet I was seated 1 table from the kitchen, 2nd worst table in the place. The place needs a franchise redecorating; too dark, non imaginative interior. Who needs all the TVs & clutter? Never again. (read more)

I have eaten here in the past and it used to be good but this past time ruined my entire experience and I am NEVER coming back. The service was AWFUL, the food was AWFUL. I ordered the lsizzling chicken an cheese" like I normally do and when I FINALLY got my food it was NOT sizzling and i could see that the cheese was about 3 slices of the kind of cheese that you peel out of a plastic wrapper! At TGI Friday's this evening I ordered chicken picatta pasta for $13.99. I could not believe how small the amount of chicken was, mostly pasta drowning in sauce. What a rip off! The server told me that was the usual amount of chicken and I could order an additional portion of chicken. I declined since at this point my husband was already eating his (large) burger and I didn't think I should have to pay for more chicken. It was vile. I'm not a fussy eater but the steak was very seriously overseasoned, the fries were ok I'm sure someone had an accident with the salt in the kitchen regarding my steak, My husband had literally 1/4 head of lettuce, not shredded just a massive chunk, this aparrently was the side salad, the lettuce had some disgusting dressing on it . TGI Fridays - Watford.
I have to say this is one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a while! The first thing you will notice on arriving at this TGI's (apart from the mass of screaming kids) is the ridiculously overpriced menu. This becomes even more apparent when you receive your low-quality food. I ordered the half rack of ribs and I was very dissapointed. The TGI's I visited was in Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port. Bear in mind it was early in the evening - 5.30 on a Saturday and we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table - I think this is deliberate to make you visit the bar as there were plenty of tables, they were just all filthy. The bar staff took 15 minutes to serve us and then clearing glasses whilst doing so. I went for dinner on Saturday at the TGI Fridays in Leicester Square with a friend for the first time and I was really shocked. The food was appalling, and much overpriced. The fries were burnt and the pasta was very soggy. The wicked wing tasted as if they had come from straight out the freezer, quickly heated in the microwave, and then thrown onto our plates. I had a breakfast at TGI Friday one morning and it was simply revolting. The "fresh" fruit was obviously the same bowl used every morning and kept in the fridge overnight (everything was brown and soggy); the English breakfast was like rubber; and the buffett table was swarming with flies. The "fresh" coffee was lukewarm, and the whole restaurant looked miserable. I can only imagine that these practices are standard across their whole chain. (read more)

5 of us went to the Cheltenham branch of TGI Fridays in May. The food was mediocre, and the price high. The waitress was also very unfriendly. I complained to head office and they said they would send vouchers out. I had to contact them six times, and I waited for 7 weeks for 25 quids worth of vouchers!
When I went back the service was OK, but the food was mediocre, and there was no atmosphere.

After long anticipating dining out at TGI Fridays, I finally came across a franchise in Melbourne. What were my first impressions when I first set foot in the restaurant? Very disappointing. Service was rather poor. Considering it was a Friday, you'd think that more waiters would be on hand to greet customers at the door, but there were none. I was away on business, and I had eaten in several TGI's with my family over the years, in both the UK and the States.
When I arrived at the Reading branch, I was greeted by a waiter who seemed to think he was on the West End stage, and he was extremely full of himself, and very annoying.
I placed my order, and after waiting for twenty minutes, I was advised they were out of their signature sauce.

TGI Fridays has an exciting, and laid back atmosphere. TGIF is very friendly in character, and is a place to go and unwind after a hard day at work. The food is very enjoyable, and the portions are large. The Jack Daniels sauce is the main featured sauce of the restaurant, and it is tasty on everything; chicken, ribs, burgers, and steak. They also have a health conscious menu, for those trying to eat healthily.

All the orgasmic sound you can muster is just how TGI's food should be described! I have only been there once with about fifteen people and have made a point to make time to find my nearest one so I can go again! This place is awesome...It has just the perfect atmosphere, and the service was great. A friend of mine had been there before and the only reason why he wanted to go was because there is a smoking section so that turned me on to the place. When I walked in the front door I was just amazed, by the way it was decorated and while we were eating we were very close to the bar and we heard the bartenders introducing themselves to customers. I was so amazed by how welcoming these people are, and not only do they do it because they feel they need to, I think they really love what they do and since, I was there 2 weeks ago I have gone back 3 more times. I love it there!
