TGI Fridays - Gulf Freeway/Houston - Last time I waited 40 minutes for the salad, 25 for the wine. Gave it another try; mistake. Ordered steak rare, but it arrived almost alive! Great too to hear the waitress & cook arguing about it in the kitchen when I sent it back. Place was less than 25% full, yet I was seated 1 table from the kitchen, 2nd worst table in the place. The place needs a franchise redecorating; too dark, non imaginative interior. Who needs all the TVs & clutter? Never again. (read more)

I have eaten here in the past and it used to be good but this past time ruined my entire experience and I am NEVER coming back. The service was AWFUL, the food was AWFUL. I ordered the lsizzling chicken an cheese" like I normally do and when I FINALLY got my food it was NOT sizzling and i could see that the cheese was about 3 slices of the kind of cheese that you peel out of a plastic wrapper! My two guests got their salmon and couldn't even finish their meal because it was very salty. This... (read more)

I really love their amazing American style decor. There are musical instruments and traffic lights and signs and also car spare parts on the wall. "FRIDAYS" has a very excellent service, waiters are very friendly, polite and neat, food is so scrumptious ,healthy and different. There are alot of kinds of food like soup,chicken,salads,seafood,...etc. prices are a... Quality of food was atrocious. It like we were eating lard and very oily food. Everything was fried or over cooked. Meat want fresh and tasted like it was cooked yesterday and re heated. I guarantee you if Gordon Ramsey walked into this pls r hr would have fired the chef and revamped process and quality of food. This is c grade take away food disguised as restaurant food. TGI fridays is overpriced for poor quality of food. Overall service was okay we were attened to quickly but this was no surprise as it was during the middle of the week-Tuesday night in Nottingham. At TGI Friday's this evening I ordered chicken picatta pasta for $13.99. I could not believe how small the amount of chicken was, mostly pasta drowning in sauce. What a rip off! The server told me that was the usual amount of chicken and I could order an additional portion of chicken. I declined since at this point my husband was already eating his (large) burger and I didn't think I should have to pay for more chicken. The manager came over to hear what my problem was and I told him that... (read more)

Went to Bluewater today and thought we would have TGI fridays,, was given a hand held devise to alert us when a table was ready, was told to go to the bar and have a drink while we wait, I ordered 3 cokes and a diet coke, the barman filled each glass to the top with ice and put drinks in from a pump machine, handed me the drinks and said £9.60, for four glasses of ice with a splash of coke, he must have seen me coming, I wont be going back there its a complete rip off. On Saturday we visited this restaurant, myself, husband and 19yr old grandson. We had had great experiences at TGIs in the past and thought it would be nice to re-visit, we were wrong. We waited 25 minutes for a table, then another 20 for our food. When it arrived the burgers and chips were cold, they were re-placed quickly by hot ones but the burger buns had just been defrosted and were cold, chips were dry and withered. The burgers were tasteless and gave us bad indigestion, however the... (read more)

Went there yesterday for mothers day.
It was vile. I'm not a fussy eater but the steak was very seriously overseasoned, the fries were ok I'm sure someone had an accident with the salt in the kitchen regarding my steak, My husband had literally 1/4 head of lettuce, not shredded just a massive chunk, this aparrently was the side salad, the lettuce had some disgusting dressing on it . My prawns were cold and tasted funny, not off just very bland.
However my starter of mushrooms were good, not... (read more)

Very disappointed that TGI Fridays Cardiff St Davids 2 and several other branches of TGI Fridays do not take bookings on a Fri or Sat even if you are willing to pay a deposit. We took my 12 year old son and some friends there for his Birthday and we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. He came and sat down at our table and sang happy birthday solo. I ordered sirloin steak medium rare. However, it was a bit overdone. Tom could not apologize enough and ordered a new one immediately. TGI Fridays - Watford.
I have to say this is one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a while! The first thing you will notice on arriving at this TGI's (apart from the mass of screaming kids) is the ridiculously overpriced menu. This becomes even more apparent when you receive your low-quality food. I ordered the half rack of ribs and I was very dissapointed. Having been to the Bluewater TGI's before and having had a terrible experience a couple of years ago, it might have been sensible to avoid. The TGI's I visited was in Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port. Bear in mind it was early in the evening - 5.30 on a Saturday and we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table - I think this is deliberate to make you visit the bar as there were plenty of tables, they were just all filthy. The bar staff took 15 minutes to serve us and then clearing glasses whilst doing so. The menu looked poor and the children's worse than that - we were not offered any colouring in packs for the children. At this... (read more)

I went for dinner on Saturday at the TGI Fridays in Leicester Square with a friend for the first time and I was really shocked. The food was appalling, and much overpriced. The fries were burnt and the pasta was very soggy. The wicked wing tasted as if they had come from straight out the freezer, quickly heated in the microwave, and then thrown onto our plates. I had a breakfast at TGI Friday one morning and it was simply revolting. The "fresh" fruit was obviously the same bowl used every morning and kept in the fridge overnight (everything was brown and soggy); the English breakfast was like rubber; and the buffett table was swarming with flies. The "fresh" coffee was lukewarm, and the whole restaurant looked miserable. I can only imagine that these practices are standard across their whole chain. (read more)

5 of us went to the Cheltenham branch of TGI Fridays in May. The food was mediocre, and the price high. The waitress was also very unfriendly. I complained to head office and they said they would send vouchers out. I had to contact them six times, and I waited for 7 weeks for 25 quids worth of vouchers!

After long anticipating dining out at TGI Fridays, I finally came across a franchise in Melbourne. What were my first impressions when I first set foot in the restaurant? Very disappointing. Service was rather poor. Considering it was a Friday, you'd think that more waiters would be on hand to greet customers at the door, but there were none. I was away on business, and I had eaten in several TGI's with my family over the years, in both the UK and the States.
When I arrived at the Reading branch, I was greeted by a waiter who seemed to think he was on the West End stage, and he was extremely full of himself, and very annoying.
I placed my order, and after waiting for twenty minutes, I was advised they were out of their signature sauce.

TGI Fridays has an exciting, and laid back atmosphere. TGIF is very friendly in character, and is a place to go and unwind after a hard day at work. The food is very enjoyable, and the portions are large. The Jack Daniels sauce is the main featured sauce of the restaurant, and it is tasty on everything; chicken, ribs, burgers, and steak. All the orgasmic sound you can muster is just how TGI's food should be described!
