I have always enjoyed eating at the Boathouse Nottingham until recently. The service is appalling lately, today I waited over 1hour to be served and my food was left on the servery for over 10 minutes. I left without eating.

We (My husband, me and our two good friends) always go to the Haywain Beefeater, Basildon if we want a steak meal, it is first class. We also go occasionally for sunday lunch and again they never disappoint. The service is excellent and the restaurant is very comfortable. I would highly recommend this restaurant and the value for money is outstanding.- Read Guest's review (61 words)

The next best place to visit for a good meal and great service after visiting Beefeater is another Beefeater. Beefeater offers a first class service, good value for money and above all very friendly staff.- Read NjomiMo's review (74 words)

saw a new pub/restaurant the oakley hay or something like that which had been opened about 7 weeks and thought we would give it a try, were taken to our table in a polite manner and given out menu's and asked if we would like a drink while we waited, ok so far, i asked what traditional ales they had the girl went to look and came back and told me all the lager and bitter range! i asked her if she knew what i meant and she said 'no' so I went and got my own beer. as it was sunday we all three opt ...- Read kenthejock's review (184 words)

I have only good points to add about the Mallard Beefeater in Derby, decor superb light modern and most of comfortable. Serviced by a very polite helpful staff member who was keen to do best which shone through her hard efforts to please. The meal was cooked to perfection and the stilton and mushroom with burgers is highly recommended, the overall experience has left us wanting to go back again
This beefeater is highly recommended for service and comfort, food excellent- Read qwertyboard's review (82 words)

The Oyster Reach Beefeater, Bourne Hill. Our evening meal: absolutely superb. Waiting on staff courteous and friendly, and VERY hardworking. Lovely surroundings and nice decor. Appears to be a very popular spot where you can have a casual bar meal or a more dressy restaurant meal. We opted for the restaurant.
After our excellent evening meal we booked for breakfast with high hopes, based on the excellent evening meal we had just eaten (we were staying at the very pleasing Premier Inn next do ...- Read Guest's review (311 words)

Made the mistake of taking sunday lunch in a beefeater restaurant in sewardstone road epping/chingford. I thought the food was truly awful.
The 'Roast Beef' looked like it came from a packet, coloured grey and not a hint of rareness and as if it had spent the last year of it's existence in a packet rather than part of a living organism, heated up in a microwave. The sort of thing we used to get at school.
'Roast' potatoes appeared to have been cooked in a deep fat fryer. Cauliflower and Broccoli ...- Read HawHaw's review (237 words)

We have used this Beefeater restaurant for many years, and seen lots of staff come and go and it has to be said that I feel the standard of service and food quality has deteriorated markedly over the past 2 years, we go back every so often to see if things have improved but it just seems to get worse. We can give our report based an many years of use,and the final straw two weeks ago when I refused to pay for the meal as it came apparently cremated and I felt the service level was bordering on the ...- Read CORTINA's review (156 words)

The waiting staff, although not the brightest of people, Did their Best to Make Everyones' Meal Acceptable.
On the other hand, The staff Seemed to have the attitude that He would rather Not have Any Cusomers at All.
So the Welwyn Garden City Beefeater, next to Gosling Stadium has had a Re-furbish.....Now, all it needs is some new staff for Evening Meals.

I've eaten at Beefeaters throughout the UK, and depressingly always found them pretty good. The reason I'm not celebrating them more is because there is no uniqueness to them - other than quality of service - as the menu never seems to change. I work near one off Tredegar Park, Newport, South Wales, and regularly lunch there - particularly as many meals are half price at lunch time!!!
The gammon is perfectly fine; usually with crisp slightly burnt fat. The steaks are fine and recommended, b ...- Read Welsh Foodie's review (170 words)

This is the second review I have written for the Countess Wear (Beefeater) restaurant based souly on our Christmas day dining experience.
As fairly regular diners at this establishment we decided to try them this Christmas just gone, for their Christmas Day lunch. The waitress advised us to book early, which we did in October 2006, paying a deposit of £15 each adult and £5 each child.
We were given a choice from the Christmas menu to be handed in by 1st December, along with the ful ...- Read Helen of Troy's review (663 words)

Beefeater specialises in steaks of all kinds so if you love steak, I recommend that after reading these all restaurant reviews, you find your nearest Beefeater Restaurant and give them a go, if you never have! The prices are very reasonable for such gorgeous grub too!
The Countess Wear in Exeter (right next to the Countess Wear roundabout in Topsham Road) I can recommend very much, the staff are very friendly and efficient, the food is excellent and the restaurant itself is very pleasant. The ...- Read Helen of Troy's review (185 words and 1 comment)
