I am not disappointed with the experience at the Pizza Express Metro Centre Gateshead. The staff are friendly, attentive and the food is consistently good and there are always plenty of discount codes or special offers available. Highly recommend the Leggerra pizzas.

I arrived at the pizza express in coventry for lunch with a friend. When we entered we were left unattended for 5 minutes with no one to greet us at all. I was unsure whether to take a seat or just stand there and wait, I opted for the latter so I was displeased. However the service was great afterwards, the waiter and waitress were accommodating and prompt, the food was excellent and arrived fairly quickly, however the drinks were ridiculously expensive and in a insufficiently small size. I overhead the waiter and waitress complain that there manager has left the rota unchecked as he went on holiday thereby leaving everyones shift in dissaray, all in all they have done well considering there was a noticeable lack of staff there so I hope the manager comes back next week and pulls his socks up and support his colleagues. overall coventry pizza express was great, nice ambience, good music but not too loud, lots of windows allowing for natural brightness which is refreshing, nice decor not to sure about those plates on the wall though, very clean toilet facilities and most importnatly, great food and service. would recommend.

One of my worst dining experiences. On arrival we were seated by a blonde waitress. We were handed menus before I even sat down. The building was freezing. My toes were so cold. Food was slow to arrive. Satisfactory starters. Mains were cold and disappointing. The food lacked flavour and was very bland. Not enough cheese, it's pizza for crying out loud! £3.95 for a peroni was shocking. I will never go again!

This is one of the only places that takes it as normal when someone orders a pizza with no cheese, so that makes me a happy bunny! It's a big difference when you can go somewhere with friends, and it's no hassle!! The food is great, there is a good selection, the atmosphere is nice, i couldn't fault it really.

I'm still feeling the effects of some of the red I had last night, but Oh, what a night - It was great! Me and 4 friends (partners in crime) wanted to kick the weekend off early and so, voucher in hand, we all trekked down to Pizza Express. Now, I had my doubts. I haven't been there in years (I tend to go to Strada and ASK instead), but on this occasion it was a winner. Our poor waiter (actually I bet he loved it :-) dealt well with 5 girls with a licence for red! The food (that I remember) was great. Easily on a par with strada - I seem to remember it being greasier, but it was absolutely top-notch. And with a voucher it couldn't have been better! Watch Out Pizza Express - we will be back!

Thank you to Ganeesh at Pizza Express in Greenwich for making our meal out with our grand-daugher Amelie such a good experience. Nothing was too much trouble and it made Amelie's evening a special one. Pizza Express cater wonderfully well for children with allergies.

I have one thing mainly to say about PIzza Express and it's that they don't mind when I ask for a pizza with NO cheese. I realise it's a weird request, but it's never been any problem, and just means i've made several return visits. The service is great, the staff are friendly, it's a little on the pricey side, but great for a night out.

started badly with two children and three adults given a table for four with a chair on one end. No room at all and a couple of glasses went over due to the lack of space. The manager came over, relocted us to a larger table and replaced the drinks. Was great with the kids and turned a bad situation into a good one. We had booked a table for five so maybe we should not have been put on a table for four but anyway it was handled very well in the end.

We come here approximately once a month, maybe more so when there are offers on. It's a fairly small restaurant but there is always a nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Occassionally when it's really really busy the service suffers a bit but it's not that often. Food is always good and arrives promptly. Would continue to eat here on a regular basis.

Bradley had to deal with a drunk who broke crockery and glass as he left the premises. The whole thing was very smoothly managed indeed and he should be congratulated. We had called at the restaurant to book a table earlier in the afternoon but were told that would not be necessary. When we turned up at 6.00pm we waited, were finally seated about 6.45pm and served at 7.05pm, leaving only 15 minutes to eat before our theatre trip next door. Despite all this the staff were impeccable under serious pressure the entire time.

I have had the BEST pizza here, the new italian sausage one.. amazing! we had a great offer 2 for 1, the dessert with the FREE coffee (i went for a latte), was amazing, the best dessert I have ever had. Doughballs were great as a starter too. Lovely. Great meal, best i had in ages.

I really like Pizza Express, although on the pricey side. The service here is always good and prompt, and i think the food is of hight quality. The childrens meal deal is excellent value too.

Good location. Polite and friendly service. Calamari starter and lasagne main course were okay.

Pizza Express in Fleet is relatively new, so we thought we'd give it a try. We weren't expecting much, just a nice sit down meal with a few friends. We were making use of a voucher.
The service was great, pleasant and friendly. The food came as ordered, and in good time, so no complaints there. The food actually tasted pretty good.
My only real negative was probably the restaurant itself. The acoustics of the room just really didn't work. Everything just sounded so loud, as people's voices bounced off the low ceilings and walls. You'd be talking normally but would end up shouting at the person sat next to you, competing with your neighbours!
Overall, it was a nice experience...

I never thought i would be one to recommend Pizza Express so highly. I ate lunch their with a couple of friends last saturday (making use of a 50% off deal with a taste of London card). The restaurant was really busy, with a buzzy atmosphere perfect for a saturday afternoon. Our waiter, although new that day was comptetent and friendly (he even accidentally gave us proper champagne instead of the requested prosecco). The food was fine - as you would expect from pizza express - perfectly nice but nothing to write home about. The best bit was the deal. Three of us, with a pizza and a side salad each, plus drinks and coffees came to less than £15 per head - i will definitely be returning next time i need a cheap lunch!
