Bad Points: I thought the food was terrible, cutlery filthy, service terrible

General comments: I live in Cambridge, and understand week-ends are very busy, but the food was just rushed out and put on tables, no considering about presentation and taste to the food, all in all a very disappointing evening meal.

The Alresford Pizza Express restaurant is a hidden gem. It has a lovely garden and lots of character, staff warm and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to work there.

Had to wait 2 hours for the main meal at Pizza Express, this is unacceptable we were a group of 10 and the table was pre-booked. I think the Pizza's are poor compared to what i can get from the take away at a 5th of the price. The pasta dishes looked and apparently were disgusting and £6 for a pint of beer is to much. Complained, was originally offered free coffee but eventually got all starters and some main meals free. Could be the worst meal out i have ever had.

The staff are really kind and the pizza and dough balls are really yummy and scrummy. I love the ice creams they are really scrummy and yummy to. I love pizza express. My favorite pizza is margherita. My favorite Pizza Express Is Ship Street in Brighton.

What should have been a relaxing family meal at the Cheadle branch of Pizza Express was spoiled by errors in order taking and slow service that I had to get up and complain about. I was compensated by a free £5 glass of wine. Pizza Express isn't cheap, so I want the level of service that goes with those prices.

There are too many good alternatives to Pizza Express these days and I'll be spending my money there. Me and my partner drank two bottles of bitter lemon each at the Pizza Express in Norwich (St Benedicts) before seeing they were three months out of date, the staff to their generous credit said we wouldn't have to pay for them. Everything else including the extra pizza toppings went on the bill.

I used to love Pizza express. However, virtually all the options I used to like have been removed from the menu or dramatically changed and those remaining have gone downhill in quality.

I cannot fault this restaurant at all, its menu has evolved a lot in the last couple of years, their pizzas have got bigger, and they are the best tasting pizzas in the country, if not in the world... they are certainly better than much of the pizza i have tasted in Italy!!! They have a great wine menu including a lovely house pino grigio, and as a pudding, their cheesecake is perfect! A great place to go with a group of friends or for a romantic rmeal.

I use Pizza Express regularly across the UK, particularly if I'm dining alone and working, and I find them consistently of good value. I particularly like their new range of super thin pizzas, which I'm told by a waitress are basically exactly the same, but just rolled out thinner. They make for a big plateful, but I love the way that they are hugely crisp. If you like horrible gloopy American deep pan, then you'll hate this. Excellent. Staff are well trained, and they're always very cl ...

Pizza Express is a Pizza shop that's not too bad. The dips were nice and plentiful, and the pizza toppings were fresh and full. I have been in a few up and down the country, and all are the same.

We have visited a number of Pizza Express restaurants, and the one factor that has always stood out is the quality of the Pizza. Generally the service has ranged from OK to excellent. The only improvement we would like to see is a more imaginative and varied dessert menu.

I've dined at a couple of different Pizza Express Restaurants and have been extremely satisfied so I can't fathom some of the negative feedback on this website! I'm a Yorkshireman born and bred, but I do find myself crossing the Pennines on many occasions to visit family in the Manchester area. As a result I've been to both the Pizza Express in Salford at the Lowry Centre and the Wilmslow branch of Pizza Express. I had a very satisfactory exeperience at both of these. There is a decent sized ...

The pizza I had was crispy and delicious, and served to me before I had even got half way through the aromatic nuts I had ordered as an 'intro'.

Regulary go either with a couple of friends or office outing. Never had anything but excellent service, hot good food, and great house red wine (otherwise we would not go back - too much choice to waste our time and money). Can not really fault this restuarant except sometimes - when very busy - food is anything but express but hey the result is worth waiting for !

For my birthday I thought that it might be nice to try a meal with my friends at Pizza Express. In hindsight, I regret my choice of eatery so much. Never have I been subjected to such bad service when eating out. Getting seated and ordering our food went ok, but unfortunately it went downhill from there. It took an hour before our food arrived, but even then only 7/9 meals at our table were served, with two orders being wrong. My pizza was only lukewarm , while my friend's lasagne was burn ...

We decided to go to Pizza Express as we wanted something a little better than the average pizza experience. We waited for four minutes before anyone came over to seat us. The table had not been wiped properly. I ordered a Mozzarella salad for starters and my partner a Bruschetta. The Bruschetta arrived and the waitress then told me that the Tomato and Mozzarella salad was not available as they had run out of Mozzarella!. We ordered a main course of pizza with spicy chicken. It looked as if they ...
