I have no guilt taking my children to Subway because most of the choice is tasty without the grease of other fast food outlets. They also do salads which are really nice and smaller snacks other than subs. As the adverts say, it is fresh and the choice is good apart from the deserts which is limited to a soft cookie. I'm not keen on cookies anyway, so another choice would be nice. Every sub is made to your individual taste in front of you which is a great idea. Prices for some of the subs is... (read more)

Thanks a lot subway. Why don't you make the subs four dollars so that they actually cost five dollars with tax huh? Still was delicious when i bought the same sub the next day. nom nom nom. I visited the Bredbury, Manchester branch a week ago and had to walk out without purchasing due to the flies flying around the food display and preparation area. Undeterred i visited the Didsbury, Manchester branch today and ordered a spicy italian. You can imagine my disappointment when i unwraped the sandwich at home and a fly crawled out. Straight in the bin. I will never go to subway again. (read more)

From SubwaY, Squiresgate Blackpool, my daughter just brought me my order - a pepperoni pizza toastie. When I opened the bag it showed the soggiest piece of bread roll I have ever had in my life! I had to put it in the oven to crisp up as I couldnt eat it as it was. Time wasted = 20mins, starvation level=150% - Ah well, you live and learn. Never again..would have been quicker to make it myself and soooo much cheaper! (read more)

The prices are absolutely extortionate for what they are. (Foot long meal for my lunch, a drink and crisps.. no change of a tenner!) They run out of ingredients very quickly, and refuse to put more on for you. Out of five or six times, I've had to pick something else three times! They never have anything available. They also burn some things. I bought a meatball marinara today, the meatballs were burned and tough, and there wasn't much cheese to make it taste better. It's expensive, often... (read more)

We went into Subway Latchford on Saturday, we originally were in KFC across the road but the smell and total lack of service made us decide to leave and cross the road. The Subway was packed when we walked in but we were sat down eating in less than 15 minutes. The food was fantastic, I was starving and went for a foot long but I couldn't eat all in one go and took what was left with me. The other two had six inch and polished them off in minutes, the coffee was much better than the big... (read more)

I have a subway a couple of times a year. Normally it is good but today was not the same. There was a 10-15 min wait to get served with only about 5 people in front of me. I clearly asked for ranch sauce but instead the member of staff spirited some kind of dark chilli/bbq sauce on, how could ranch be miss heard for anything else? I didn’t want to make a fuss so didn’t say anything. The lady at the till seemed more interested in talking to her mates than taking money and was slow.... (read more)

Love Subway. I am a vegetarian and have the Veggie Patty with Whatever bread, cheese and chilli sauce with some salad [onions/tomatoes/lettuce normally]. For under £5 I can't really fault the food. I look forwards to it every time and it always fills me up-not too much, just enough to feel comfortably full. Maybe we live in the wrong area because our local Subway is rubbish! Staff not at all happy, speak in a whisper so you have to keep asking them to repeat themselves, but the worst thing is that whenever we go in after work (5:15) they NEVER have any meatballs, and our favourite is Meatball Marinara!!! So they havent had any money off us for the last few months as they never have what we like - how hard can it be to order enough meatballs, for goodness sake? (read more)

The menu is extensive with a host of meats hot and cold to put in a choice of breads, you can have 6" or footlong or even a tortilla wrap! Cheese is optional on all sandwiches and after the meat selection you get the option of Hot, Cold or Toasted. Certain sandwiches must be cold (Tuna for example) and some are better hot (Meatballs). The choice does not stop at the tempreture of the food as you then have to decide on the salad for your sandwich. Pick from Lettace, Onion, Cucumber, Tomato,... (read more)

I can't get enough of subway. First I was addicted to foot long meatballs but recently I've moved on to the Italian BMT with as much salad as possible slightly toasted. Tastes superb. The bread is made fresh on the day. Service is pretty decent although it can take time during busy periods. Only downside is that around £5 for a foot long sandwich can seem a tad on the expensive side but well worth it after a hard morning at the office. (read more)

Having atually worked in two subway stores, I can say there is a huge difference between how they are run. You can't go wrong if you visit a store in North Wales. The staff are excellent, cleaning is none stop, the food extremly fresh, and the bread perfect. The offers are generally good too. However, I visited a store in Portsmouth, and I was so disappointed. I eat at Subway regularly and absolutely love the food.
The bread is baked fresh in their in-store ovens on a daily basis and they also bake cookies and danish fresh too. The store is always kept nice and clean and a big point for me is clean loos (I always wonder what the kitchens are like if the loos are dirty).
The serving staff wear gloves that they change for every sandwich, so inspire confidence that they are not transferring germs onto your sandwich. The sandwiches are huge. They are...

i agree subway is fantastic, especially the one in Northampton. Was in there today and i all i can say is brilliant. The queue was up to the door so they are definitely popular. As i was served the lady apologised for keeping me waiting. Once i was served it took less than two minutes to get to the till, including toasting the sub. THe lady on the till once again apologised for my wait. I assume she was the manager as she was wearing a different uniform and was doing a fantastic job of motivating the staff whilst doing two or three other jobs as well. I also like the fact they offer trays for eating in to help the environment and save resources. All in all i would give subway 100 out of 10. I have also visited stores in MK, Kendal, Reading and Basingstoke. They are all good but this far out ranks any of them.

DON"T EVER EAT AT A SUBWAY IN BRAZIL ! The sandwich is not even close to what the picture looks like and you get a morsel of meat or tuna on the sandwich. I love Subway.....but I hate Subway in Brazil. Especially in places like Joao Pessoa. But they are all bad Joao Pessoa especially.
