I have no guilt taking my children to Subway because most of the choice is tasty without the grease of other fast food outlets. They also do salads which are really nice and smaller snacks other than subs. As the adverts say, it is fresh and the choice is good apart from the deserts which is limited to a soft cookie. I'm not keen on cookies anyway, so another choice would be nice. Every sub is made to your individual taste in front of you which is a great idea. Prices for some of the subs is... (read more)

I went to subway and the five dollar foot long was not five dollars. with tax it was twelve dollars. i only brought five dollars. I could not pay. I went hungry for the rest of the day. Thanks a lot subway. Why don't you make the subs four dollars so that they actually cost five dollars with tax huh? Still was delicious when i bought the same sub the next day. nom nom nom. I visited the Bredbury, Manchester branch a week ago and had to walk out without purchasing due to the flies flying around the food display and preparation area. Undeterred i visited the Didsbury, Manchester branch today and ordered a spicy italian. You can imagine my disappointment when i unwraped the sandwich at home and a fly crawled out. Straight in the bin. I will never go to subway again. (read more)

From SubwaY, Squiresgate Blackpool, my daughter just brought me my order - a pepperoni pizza toastie. When I opened the bag it showed the soggiest piece of bread roll I have ever had in my life! I had to put it in the oven to crisp up as I couldnt eat it as it was. Time wasted = 20mins, starvation level=150% - Ah well, you live and learn. Never again..would have been quicker to make it myself and soooo much cheaper! (read more)

The prices are absolutely extortionate for what they are. (Foot long meal for my lunch, a drink and crisps.. no change of a tenner!) They run out of ingredients very quickly, and refuse to put more on for you. Out of five or six times, I've had to pick something else three times! They never have anything available. They also burn some things. I bought a meatball marinara today, the meatballs were burned and tough, and there wasn't much cheese to make it taste better. It's expensive, often... (read more)

Very poor service from the young female members of staff, no eye contact, surly greeting from one, ignored by the other. Robotic at best. We usually have very good service at this branch so we were surprised and dissapointed. Young male server at this branch was superb by the way. (read more)

We went into Subway Latchford on Saturday, we originally were in KFC across the road but the smell and total lack of service made us decide to leave and cross the road. The Subway was packed when we walked in but we were sat down eating in less than 15 minutes. The food was fantastic, I was starving and went for a foot long but I couldn't eat all in one go and took what was left with me. The other two had six inch and polished them off in minutes, the coffee was much better than the big... (read more)

I have a subway a couple of times a year. Normally it is good but today was not the same. There was a 10-15 min wait to get served with only about 5 people in front of me. I clearly asked for ranch sauce but instead the member of staff spirited some kind of dark chilli/bbq sauce on, how could ranch be miss heard for anything else? I didn’t want to make a fuss so didn’t say anything. The lady at the till seemed more interested in talking to her mates than taking money and was slow.... (read more)

i love subway i think the food is great and usually have a decent experience in there. Except for perry barr. One of the blokes serving me needs to take the chip off his shoulder and get some customer service skills, everything i asked for they couldnt do, vouchers only work with certain sandwiches, after the sandwich was made he told me so i was FORCED to buy it. Rubbish service, probably not the managers fault but his staff are letting him or her down (read more)

HAD A TURKEY AND HAM FOOT LONG SUB WITH SALAD YESTERDAY. HAVEN'T BEEN OFF THE TOILET SINCE. DOCTOR SAYS ITS SALMONELLA, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. A FEW GOOGLE SEARCHES SINCE HAS ONLY JUST MADE ME REALISE THAT THIS FRANCHISE CHAIN IS A HOTBED OF DISEASE. NO IDEA HOW ANYONE COULD SCREW UP A SANDWICH, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. (read more)

Love Subway. I am a vegetarian and have the Veggie Patty with Whatever bread, cheese and chilli sauce with some salad [onions/tomatoes/lettuce normally]. For under £5 I can't really fault the food. I look forwards to it every time and it always fills me up-not too much, just enough to feel comfortably full. Also, although not super healthy the calories and fat contents are pretty low and this is definitely more healthy than eating out at a lot of other places. Staff always seem nice and... (read more)

I love subway and tend to eat here often. I eat here once a week on a Saturday when my friend and myself go into town in Belfast. I love the food. I usually get a foot long with chicken, cheese and mayonnaise. The staff are always friendly and always willing to help. There was just one day I asked for my usual order and they put the chicken on the bread without asking if I would like it heated up. That was okay, not a problem. So, I asked would it be too late to ask for it heated. The lady... (read more)

subway is the best. My boyfriend has worked there for over a year now, and i have tried almost all the subs they have in the store. i Havent yet tried the breakfast sub but im planning on it. When you go to the store they greet you immediatly. Believe it or not the employees DO care about your likings. I live in a small town and we have two subways and i can bet that everyone goes and eats there at least once a week if not more. (read more)

Maybe we live in the wrong area because our local Subway is rubbish! Staff not at all happy, speak in a whisper so you have to keep asking them to repeat themselves, but the worst thing is that whenever we go in after work (5:15) they NEVER have any meatballs, and our favourite is Meatball Marinara!!! So they havent had any money off us for the last few months as they never have what we like - how hard can it be to order enough meatballs, for goodness sake? (read more)

The menu is extensive with a host of meats hot and cold to put in a choice of breads, you can have 6" or footlong or even a tortilla wrap! Cheese is optional on all sandwiches and after the meat selection you get the option of Hot, Cold or Toasted. Certain sandwiches must be cold (Tuna for example) and some are better hot (Meatballs). The choice does not stop at the tempreture of the food as you then have to decide on the salad for your sandwich. Pick from Lettace, Onion, Cucumber, Tomato,... (read more)

It's the best place I've ever eaten at, you add like an extra £1.20 i think and can make it a footlong! Instead of a 6 inch. There's a large range of sandwiches, salads and wraps, you can make your own sandwich and choose your filling salad sauce. And it's quite cheap :). (read more)

The service at Subway in Stanmore is very good. Even when it's the busiest time of the day and they are rushed off their feet, you will always be treated nicely. Fresh salad is great and healthy. Good value for money and a healthy alternative to burger/pizza fast food take-outs. I would recommend anyone to Subway, and I have only been there twice!! (read more)

I can't get enough of subway. First I was addicted to foot long meatballs but recently I've moved on to the Italian BMT with as much salad as possible slightly toasted. Tastes superb. The bread is made fresh on the day. Service is pretty decent although it can take time during busy periods. Only downside is that around £5 for a foot long sandwich can seem a tad on the expensive side but well worth it after a hard morning at the office. (read more)

Subway is a lifesaver and certainly hits the hunger spot! I first discovered this chain while backpacking in the States and was amazed to discover the choice of breads and fillings! It's a healthy fast food alternative.

I love Subway; they do the best big sandwiches ever! The best thing about them is you can actually watch your sandwich being made and you can have as much or as little filling as you like! My favorite is the meatball sub! YUM. They also do meal deals as well which is good if you're on a working lunch as it's really handy!

This review is not aimed at the 'traditional' Subway menu but rather at the Breakfast menu.
I've eaten in 4 different Subways and not had a problem with the regular food before, but after having a couple of bad experiences of their breakfast I felt that I had to share this with everyone here.
Whilst I cannot add much to the excellent reviews and comments that have already talked about the food, staff and shops that constitute a Subway, I can tell you about the very poor service and food... (read more)

Having atually worked in two subway stores, I can say there is a huge difference between how they are run. You can't go wrong if you visit a store in North Wales. The staff are excellent, cleaning is none stop, the food extremly fresh, and the bread perfect. The offers are generally good too. However, I visited a store in Portsmouth, and I was so disappointed. The bread was slighty over done, the lettece brown, the staff... well... stupid, they couldn't even fold the ham correctly. It... (read more)

I eat at Subway regularly and absolutely love the food.
The bread is baked fresh in their in-store ovens on a daily basis and they also bake cookies and danish fresh too. The store is always kept nice and clean and a big point for me is clean loos (I always wonder what the kitchens are like if the loos are dirty).
The serving staff wear gloves that they change for every sandwich, so inspire confidence that they are not transferring germs onto your sandwich. The sandwiches are huge. They are... (read more)
