I haven't been to Burger King for years, simply because I'm on a healthy eating mission. I recently headed off to the cinema at Tower park in Poole and arrived a little late to get something to eat at one of the nicer establishments there, so opted for my first Burger king experience in over 2 years. I ordered a Chicken Royal and sat down to eat, it was then that I realised how dirty the place was. It was almost empty of customers and staff were just stood around, most tables had old food... I sent into burger king i was sitting there waiting for my food for a whole hour then when it finally come I asked for some napkins and they give me some blue tea towels like you have in the hospital. So we stopped at the M^ services to get a drink and bite to eat. Went into a dirty, unclean, deserted and frankly depressing restaurant. I ordered my food and then dad ordered his. The women was hastily gathering the food and then my dad asked for a coffee with the reply "We don't serve hot drinks". This coming from a permanent premises which makes burgers and fries its own chips but doesn't have the capacity to sell hot drinks. So we ended up buying a coffee from downstairs from costa and... I worked at BK and was shocked by the whole meat being kept in storage after being flamed grilled. I used to work for McDonald's where the burgers are pretty crp, but cheaper and yea not stored in a UHC/PHU or microwaved :/ Our BK has stopped microwaving most of it's burgers now but still do with the breakfast ones. Generally the food is way more expensive and now fish is off the menu. They also don't tell non meat eaters that ALL the sides are cooked in chicken vats!. I got told off for... (read more)

I'm a bit of a stickler for policies, so when they say have it your way...I want it my way. That means a little bit of mayo, no cheese and salad but in the box not on the burger. A legendary fast food outlet which is highly recommended, this is because Mark Davies chackers into your burger giving it a unique taste. Service is friendly and helpful at 'quantum dog' speed! You leave with a great feeling of satisfaction and a head full knowledge no one cares about.
I really enjoyed how Mark Davies himself cooks all the food, serves you and acts as a chair while you eat.

Burger King grill there burgers in bulk then are put to oneside untill someone orders that item then it's microwaved to order which ruins the taste and has a horrid fatty taste to it.

No They don't, I work in burgerking and the burgers are pretty much made to order. at the most they put 4 burgers in the shoot at busy lunch times, which are there for a matter of minutes. Before you write a review get all your infomation correct next time.

If I had my way I would use the drive-through but my partner won't eat in the car so therefore I usually have to endure 15 minutes of stress.
In past experience of eating at this restaurant I have sat through kids running up and down the aisles screaming (I will stick my foot out one day), staff that give you dirty looks when you even dare walk up to the counter and sub-zero temperatures due to them not even putting the heating on.. making our food cold even quicker.

The worst customer service I have ever had at a fast food place.
The chips were cold and soggy. the rest of the food was of equally poor quality.
The stock levels were low and the outlet did not have many of the promotional offers available.
Were very unhelpful towards the vegetarian member of our group who does not eat the bean burger
The toilets were dirty and the door very hard to close and lock.

The WAIT time at the Burger King in Baumholder Germany is always so long. Today as an example I received my receipt after I paid for my food at 11:52AM,May 30,09. I did not receive #1 which is a wopper,fries,drink till 12:03.It took 11 minutes, I almost walked out because of the long wait. I would have left my food even through it was paid for.

Burger King is as the name suggests 'King' of fast food burger places and easily trumps McDonalds on all accounts. If you're looking for snappy service and reasonably tasty burgers then you really can't got wrong with a whopper meal! The burgers are bigger and taste better at Burger King than at their main competitors and are of course very reasonably priced. I've been to the BurgerKing in Parswood twice now.
The first time i went i order one of those limited addition dark knight burgers. The beef was dry, the bread was hard and the rest of the filling seemed unedible. The only plus point being the onion rings.
The second time i went there i ordered a XL Double Bacon Cheeseburger.

I have to say that as far as quality of food goes, Burger King is better than McDonald's by a small margin.
Since I found out what they put in their burgers, I've almost completely stopped eating at Burger King.
As for customer service - when everyone working at these places is an immigrant working for minimum wage, what do you expect?

McDonalds and Burger king are much alike in the "over priced junk food served by low paid youngsters" kind of way. However, the basic fact is, I prefer Burger King burgers than their main rival's burgers.
A local independent fast food establishment outclasses BK and McDonalds by giving bigger, better quality burgers with all the salad you could want for a lower price too. The staff in this particular example are all more mature and organised than staff at both the aforementioned companies...

I'm fascinated that you can award an "8" for any fast food outlet while others might be pushed to go beyond "8" for a Jamie Oliver lamb shank or a Ramsay Duck Confit. But Burger King? Just because it's better than McDonalds doesn't mean it's good. It just means it's less bad!

I feel sorry for the staff in these places. This is worse than Macdonalds, though the queues are not quite so bad... obvious why! Even their ice cream is horrible! I visit on the very rare occasion, not to eat or drink myself at all, but only if Macdonalds queues are out the door when my son wants a kids meal. Perhaps twice in five years. Twice too much for me! I'm not saying this is a regular reaction to eating at Burger King but i've eaten there once and once only and was very sick. That has been enough to put me off for life, such is the power of conditioning (of the Pavlov variety). Plus, it's just not Mcdonalds.

I received my food extremely fast (there was no other customers)however, the four sandwiches I ordered were prepared wrong & I was not given a receipt. I was quite put off eating my food since he came and sat opposite me and just sort of smiled as I ate. I did try to tell him to leave me alone, but then he started talking about the likelihood of being able to walk through a wall. At this point I left, but he stared at me smiling as I walked out.
