“A month before they arrived ”

Waited 20 minutes in the new Longbridge store to just book an appointment to be tested. Test complete a week later we had to wait 25 minutes for someone to "show us the range". Glasses chosen and £500 later we were advised there may be a couple of days delay on our sunglasses. We finally collected a month later having chased them up twice. “Prescription wrong”

I had my eyes tested at specsavers and they got the prescription wrong by just a little bit. I got a long story and they wanted to charge me a further £80! The first prescription was only 5 months ago. Apparently I am not the only one this has happened to. “long delays disapointing”

Found one or two staff members very demeaning and quite honestly rather snotty. However there was one staff member on a further visit, patient, kind and considerate. The most important disappointment for me was the amount of time i had to wait for my glasses. I waited over 2 and a half weeks. The explanation was issues with the lab but i soon got fed up with hearing that. “Bad service”

I believe specsavers are a victim of their own success. I have been going to the Hemel Hempstead branch for several years and they were very good at first but not so now. “Terrible service and no apology”

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses (2 for 1 deal) in the Sutton store over 6 weeks ago and told to pick up in 2 weeks. I came to pick them up after 3 weeks but they weren't there. Staff member told me they would be done in a day or two, but they will give me a call when they are ready. A week later, no call so I went to the store again. “False advertising”

My step daughter signed up for the free trial for contact lenses having tried them she decided not to carry on with the lenses and told spec savers that she would not continue the advisor on the telephone told her that the free trial was only free if you signed up for the contact lenses and as she had not she would have to pay £25.00 The operator was rude and kept hassling her to pay she did end up paying to stop the pestering. “Customer wishes are not to be encouraged”

I visit Specsavers every couple of years for an eye test. On my visit in late 2016 someone arrived late and saw the optician at the time of my sppointment. Although the spectacle eye test and selection of spectacles went as expected, although after a long wait. The contact lens experience was poor. This is the second year running I have had nothing but problems with specsavers Motherwell. Last year they had agree to get the glasses he wanted and the store website claims have in stock into the store. 2 weeks went by and I had not heard anything. “Specsavers Burnham-on-sea. Awful.”

I treated myself to new glasses just before Christmas, and carefully selected the most appropriate frames in close consultation with the staff at the branch. Once it came to fitting day, I was rushed through the process and the glasses did not fit properly and caused considerable pain after 30mins use. I will start by saying the Optician himself was very nice, patient, understanding and very professional. Unfortunatey he was let down by the rest of the staff at Chatham who were terrible. “Not in France!”

The new Specsavers television ad is quite misleading. The ad is based around a wine cellar in France and ends with "should of gone to Specsavers" suggesting you can make an appointment in France. I live in France and would love to go to Specsavers as the french system for an eye test is not as straightforward as it is in the UK. “Extremely poor service and value for money”

I have been going to my local Specsavers in Keighley for a number of years, (I should have moved earlier). In 2015 I had eye cataract surgery which was very successful, however after this I still needed glasses for reading. I went to Specsavers,I underwent their eye test, and paid £300 plus for two pairs of glasses. I was unable to read with the glasses so I went back for a re-test. “Specsavers Bourne- Dreadful customer service”

My wife took one pair back for repair and then when she collected them she dropped off the identical pair for repair. I called Specsavers in Bourne for an eye test and said I wanted to try contact lenses and was told 2 appointments back to back would be booked to allow for discussion on contacts. When I arrived this hadn't happened and luckily the optician rectified this and did it all in the one appointment. I made the next appointment to return and pick up glasses and have a teach session for contacts and was told I could only come at 10, 11 or 1500 and not a weekend. I would never ever use the Borne Branch, disorganised, in my opinion very unprofessional and some staff come across as very rude and abrupt.

They lost a pair of my glasses which I hasten to add were sent back for repair as one of the arms fell off ( this was the second pair they had to repair).

went in to collect them and was told no records are shown on there computer showing they went in for repair so we could not have taken them in?.

Unreal, why would we lie !! , could it not be somebody forget to enter the information on the computer ( according to the manager if its not in the computer they never had them )
