    High Street , Chatham Kent.02,11 2009.
My Wife and I visited today and were completely satisfied with all aspects of our visit, especially the following. the Optician, Karina Dhillon, gave us both an excellent eye examination, the Advisor,Lyn Daffey ,was most thorough in everything she did and the Manager, Sue Richardson oversaw all aspects of our visit
There was no need to know any thing before we purchased as we have been customers for well over ten years now.
Many thanks for giving us the opportunity to express our thoughts on Vision Express .R & L Stafford.

lost or damaged lenses, was not informed until enquired. still took a month before receipt. Cash taken from credit card before receipt of goods. at time of writing still not in receipt of glasses but money taken from card as stated above. Credit will be given for frames but will not be credited until after payment as amount shown and due on statement. Would not recommend or use again. Not any more competitive either with other high street opticians and offers.

My recent appointment on 26th August at the Spalding store was 14.10. I was eventually seen at 14.50 this only after saying that I would leave the shop. The delay was due to the only member of staff,(the optician),trained to deal with childrens glasses/fitting. Meanwhile three members of staff stood idle. Train more staff?
The computer programme also seemed to be faulty and would not respond to information uploaded. The choice of mens frames is very limited compared with Specsavers opposite. On ...

Excellent, a great choice with some lovely frames. I usually go to specsavers, but comparing the glasses i received at vision express compared to those i have from specsavers you can really appreciate the difference. yes, they cost a bit more but surely having a decent pair of glasses that don't have the lenses sticking out at the edges (the specsavers pair) more than makes up for it. I am very happy and will be going back to store and recommend to all friends and family without hesitation.

I've just come back from having an eye test at Vision Express in Richmond. Overall I was pleased with the level of service. I was welcomed at reception, and asked to wait for one minute whilst they got ready.

It was literally one minute before I got called into the examination room. The test was very thorough. I haven't had an eye test for over 10 years, so thought I'd better get a routine check-up. The eye test lasted for about 20 minutes, and at the end, the examiner went through the res ...

Vision Express are a very costly high street shop - pay heavily for your craze for designer frame - choose say Prada pay 140 GBP (say) for the frame -another at least 100 for a single vision. Pay more for each extra option -UV400 MAR etc

I had my eyes tested on April 22nd at the fairly recently opened Buxton branch of Vision Express.,I needed three new pairs of glasses,2 for distance (one pair to be a spare pair in case of breakage) and a pair of reading glasses.paying a total of £606.80.Despite telephone calls and calling in at the branch the only glasses I have received after four and a half weeks are the reading glasses, which I collected after a month, all I get is one excuse after the other, delay after the May day holi ...

In specific reference to the Vision Express store on Loughton High Rd, Essex. Excellent service and a range of glasses and sunglasses. The optician is very down to earth, extremely knowledgeable, very patient and conducted an extremely thorough eye test.Excellent for all age groups - kids, adults and OAPs. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly too and helped me pick out an excellent pair of glasses!

Turned up for my 1st eye appointment with Vision Express 2 minutes late due to very heavy traffic, only to be turned away.. Apparently they had eye appointments back to back and could no longer fit me in. I guess that despite it being the recession vision Express do not need new business. My advice go somewhere where they do not herd people through like cattle and have more focus on customer service.

I recently bought a pair of varifocal spectacles from the Brighton store, using a prescription that I had made up elsewhere. The Salesperson was polite and attentive and sold me the glasses assuring me that the lenses would be very similar to the ones that I was wearing in both terms of thinness and width of field of vision. When the glasses arrived the lenses were much thicker and the field of view narrower than my present lenses. so after a few days I took them back and after a lengthy discuss ...

when i went for a check-up, I got a new prescription, giving me stronger lens for my right eye, even though the left one has always been weaker. I did not notice at first, so when I went for contact lens test I have mentioned it to the optometrist, who not even checking told me that it is correct. When I got my new glasses they felt bad, as I could see perfectly, and even too good with the right eye, but not so much with the left one. I couldn't even stand having them on for too long. However, p ...

On my visit to Vision Express, the staff appeared to be chatting rather than serving customers. The optician apparently made a mistake with my contact lens prescription numerous times and when it was finally correct the staff made a mistake with the order. I would not recommend.

Vision Express Stafford was a dream today - straight in, very efficient, welcoming service, excellent optician and other specialists; I don't have a very complex prescription, so they made my new glasses in an hour and insured them for two years accidental damage for very little - as I only came in because I smashed yet ANOTHER pair of glasses, I thought this was particularly good.

I have been going to vision express since 1999 and have had 3 pairs of glasses from them.

This time however after noticing that my current prescription needed changing I went again (a big mistake) The optician told me I would need reading glasses this time, I asked him if we could adjust the reading glasses so I could use them for a monitor as I work in the I.T. industry.

We had constant problems with the right lens as he couldn ' t seem to get the image sharp and when he eventually did, afte ...

I used Vision Express for years to provide my eye care including tests, glasses and contact lenses.Their service was always professional and helpful but my then-local branch, Reading, became increasingly busy and difficult to get a convenient appointment. It then became noicable that other companies were offering far cheaper products so I changed. As long as you perform a competitive comparison, and can get an appointment when you need it, they seem to be pretty good.

I will not be going to that branch of Vision Express again, I normally go to the Maidenhead one. Excellent service there. Had to wait 10 minutes before I was acknowledged, Optician was OK but seemed to be in a rush, told me I needed glasses and left me looking at frames on my own. Nobody came to help me, I walked out.

I have had one pair of glasses fitted by Vision Express opticians.

They were never a good fit, and having worn glasses for about 50 years, I feel I know when frames fit well.

The opticians have modern and up-to-date testing equipment, and they do a good screening.

However, when screening my husbands eyes following cataract surgery, they recommended further prescription lenses, even though the ophthalmic surgeon had said 'off the peg' reading glasses were all he required.

    On visiting ...
