Vision Express boasts that it has an outstanding customer service. However try calling the Oxford Street branch. I dialled 3 times for information. Each time I had to listen to five minutes of an advertising promotion in the hope that when it finished I would be put through to the manager. No chance. The same promo repeated itself. Firstly I need to say that my husband originally purchased his prescription sunglasses from your BASINGSTOKE store, their customer care was dreadful. The prescription took over 8 weeks, then the arm on his stepper glasses broke off through poor design and he was charged £50 to repair. A few weeks later and was refunded after investigation when the same arm broke yet again. They were again dreadfully slow in reaction and repair. I would like to thank both the people I dealt with at Westfield branch. Initially i had a new pair of prescription spectacles done, I was not happy with them and I couldn't see well when I was walking and reading, so I went into the westfield branch and the man took on the case to have the rx corrected and a new eye test done and these were updated in my frame, which I am very happy with now. “DONT PAY CASH!!”

Paid £240 cash in the Sutton store and was constantly told I would get a FULL refund if I changed my mind within 60 days. I changed my mind in less than 60 minutes but was offered a cheque by the manger. Only when I objected, did she suggest a BACS transfer. Reluctantly I agreed as I was NEVER offered a cash refund. I would give the Optometrist 5 well merited stars for her excellent and professional care, but the customer care in the Bicester shop is very lacking. I was kept waiting for my eye test and saw a person with an appointment set after my time being dealt with before me. I was put off by this but decieded it was probably an oversight. After being with Vision express Warrington for a year I decided enough was enough. Everytime I've visited this place I've always felt that I've been an inconvenience the staff are extremely moody and offer the very basic eye care as it's all about maximising profit for this company. Purchased a pair of Prada reading glasses. Upon arrival to collect my glasses, was told that there was no case. Offered to give me a standard case for my glasses which cost me almost £300. I'm very very very aggrieved. I have never ever purchased glasses before whether it's from specs savers or Chanel and told that they do not have the brand case to accompany my glasses. “Fantastic Free Eye Test”

Found a voucher for a free eye test at Vision Express. I booked a date and time slot online and quickly received a phone call to confirm a precise time. I arrived four minutes before the appointment was due and was greeted and ushered straight away for the preliminary health checks and then immediately introduced to the optometrist who started the full examination without delay. Went to Vision Express for an eye test and ordered new glasses from the friendly and helpful staff. After 2 weeks I chased up progress and was assured they would turn up by middle of next week. After another week I went to the local store where the staff spent 20 minutes failing to get an update.
